The cost was, however, several times greater than the closest estimate. The product looks good, and the wood behind the gutters was wrapped in a metal-type siding, so it should be protected from contact with water. Overall, I am pleased, but no one appreciates being lied to."

We liked it that they have three kinds of gutters to choose from, and they showed us pictures of each. "The entire process from start to finish w/VanDusen was fantastic.  They are very professional and responsive and everything many others have stated.
The job entailed stripping off old roof, install new roof, remove old soffit aluminum and cut opening in wooden soffit to vent, added insulation to attic.  They had a huge crew that worked very fast...only took 2 days for the job.  They were extremely neat and moved things out of the way and put everything back when job was done.  When I mentioned I should have wiped down gutters before reinstalling a few guys went back up and cleaned even though they were packed up and ready to leave....no hesitation or aggravation w/my request.    Provided photos of insulation work done.  All workers were very respectful and worked well as a team and were eager to do anything I needed.  I had been concerned that removing gutters may be a problem when reinstalling and you'd never know anything was done.  The work is beautiful and thorough and stayed within my budget.

"Professional outfit.  They inspected the house and issued a quote promptly.  The quote was detailed and complete, the price was excellent and the quality of products being quoted were highly rated by Consumer's Report.  I contacted them and asked for a few alterations to improve the quality of the job.  The second quote was produced promptly and with only minimal upcharges for the changes that I requested.  They started the job within the time frame agreed upon.  They tore off the old roof and re-installed the new roof in a single day, despite some weather challenges.  The quality of the work was excellent.  The staff was friendly, they took extra care not to damage the property or shrubbery and they thoroughly cleaned up after the job.  From what I observed the staff is efficient and everyone had a task and knew what to do.  The owner Jesse Raynor was on site supervising and participating in the work the entire time.
I would highly recommend that anyone wanting to re-roof their house give these guys a shot, they are a small firm, but top notch.
