"They responded promptly to my inquiry, came by to look at the trees within days, sent a quote within days of looking at the trees and completed the work well before the 6-8 weeks they estimated it would be. On their first round they left one tree and took down part of the railing on my deck, but I called and they had taken the last tree and fixed the railing so you'd never know anything happened (I don't even know how they did it) within a day. I was amazed. Just in general, this company is super professional, responsive and their work is high quality and they definitely do not overcharge. I expected to pay much more than I did for those trees coming down. I cannot recommend them enough."

"<p>John came out quickly to do an estimate. It took a while to set up a time due to the time of year and unpredictable weather but once we were able to, the job was performed quickly and efficiently. They were responsive to a last minute modification in patio size and made sure the job was done to my satisfaction. The work looks even better than I had hoped and price was very fair. </p>"

"The prior landscaper was a disaster and <strong>Todd Schanbacher,</strong> the owner worked with us to correct his work, design and build landscaping around the entire house and pool including pavers, front porch, stone patio, stone wall, fire pit and built in grill. They next landscaped with stones, mulch, plants and trees. They installed lighting all around the house and stonework. We were so pleased to have real professionals who explained every step of the process and have it all in writing. We had a huge burden removed and we felt so much better. Todd was always available to answer our questions. <strong> He demonstrated the honesty and integrity that we needed and guided us with expertise that was amazing to us.</strong> <br /> The Greenscape's staff walked us through the entire project with comprehensive blueprints. We spent several hours with Todd choosing designs, stone types and plants. The blueprints were revised several times to our complete satisfaction. <strong>Beth Fry</strong> met with us twice to choose plants, bushes and trees. <strong>She was excellent! </strong>There was no pressure to purchase anything we did not want and we felt they truly had our interests at heart. <br /> <strong> Andrew Zimmerman</strong> managed the stone installation including removal of old pavers, porch and back deck. Andrew had two other young men working with him and they worked every minute they were here. We never saw them sitting around. They were polite and always professional. We were very pleased with the work they did. Every night they would clean up and we appreciated that . Every day we could really see the progress and when it all came together we were amazed! It was even better then we had envisioned. <strong>It exceeded our expectation</strong>s. Every day neighbors would walk by and they were very impressed with the work too. We are so excited to show it off and we have been doing that. We are so proud of our beautiful home now. We feel like we are in a different home and absolutely love it. <strong>We recommend Greenscapes without hesitation to anyone who wants to upgrade their property.</strong> We are thrilled and can't wait to entertain this summer and many more to come. <br />"

"They were very nice and everything else was fine.  It was just much too expensive for me right now.  They were nice to talk to but the price was about five times, than what I thought it would be."

"From planning to completion LANDSCAPE AUTHORITY were professional and completed the project to perfection.  Our fiberglass pool was in the ground, working, but nothing but dirt around it and the gravel that was back filled by the pool company.  Landscape Authority proposed designs for the surrounding patio and installed it.  The weather was not cooperative yet they worked through weeks of rain on days that I would have expected them to cancel.  The installation included correctly anchoring our newly installed fiberglass pool.  The owners communicated with the pool manufacturer in another state , to be sure the specks would keep our pool secure through our winters.  The care they took with the pavers was above par.  Two seasons later there is not a wiggle in any paver.  The patio pavers were cut in a curve around the pool and it looks lovely.  When one huge stone step was installed from the patio to the deck the team thought the stone had an imperfection and took it away after much work. They did this without a request from us.  Just another sign that they wanted this job completed perfectly.  They suggested adding a fire pit located next to the patio.  We added it thinking it was a good idea, but had no clue how much we would really use it.  We now have found it  has been a huge source of entertainment for our family.  I am planning more projects in <br /> the future and can't imagine having anyone else do the work.  This is a top notch company!"

"I consider this to be a superb job. My problem was not only cracked and uneven sidewalk pavement, but tree roots heaving up the walk. So, the owner of Campus Hill Nursery redesigned the walk to curve away somewhat from the large trees and was widend at the beginning step up to make it easier to enter the house with the exterior door swinging out. The workmen came on time and worked very professionally and cleaned up after the job. The job was done in two days and looks wonderful. I received many compliments on its appearance. As to the ease of shoveling snow off the paved walk, it is a great! The Campus Hill Nursery was one of three contractors suggested to me by Paragon Supply. <br />"

"I am handicapped and was in an electric scooter. As soon as I entered the garden area Sandy approached me and offered assistance. She was fun and knowledgeable. She went out of her way to assist me and get me everything I needed. Caylee and Alicia (?) at check out were also helpful. Caylee and Sandy helped me out to the car and loaded is for me. I was amazed at how fast I was in and out. I would not go anywhere else for lawn and garden. They were fabulous."

FAQs for water feature fountain or waterfall installation projects in Syracuse, NY

Installing a drinking fountain costs between $500 and $1,000 for indoor models and an average of $3,000 for outdoor units, including installation. The cost depends on the design, materials, and professional labor involved, with service rates ranging from $45 to $200 per hour. Investing in a drinking fountain can enhance your space's functionality and aesthetic appeal.

A water fountain increases home resale value by elevating curb appeal and enhancing overall property aesthetics. A well-cared-for fountain that matches the home’s design and functions flawlessly boosts buyer confidence and market desirability. Routine maintenance and professional installation ensure proper performance, ensuring that your fountain benefits both daily enjoyment and long-term resale value.

Maintaining a fountain costs $25 to $50 per month for basic upkeep and $50 to $150 for professional deep cleaning or servicing. A fountain of any size requires routine draining, thorough cleaning of the pump, tubing, and surface, plus regular inspections for wear, algae, or mineral deposits. Annual maintenance and sealing further extend its lifespan and enhance its appearance.

How much power your water fountain uses depends on the pump’s size and operating schedule. Smaller fountains use less than 10 watts per day, while larger cascade pumps can require up to 1,000 watts. This translates to an average increase of around $25 per month on your electric bill.

Water fountain installation takes anywhere from a few hours to several days.
