"Harrison and his crew exceeded my expectations! They extensively prepped our house including covering all surfaces that should not be painted, and caulking all the seams before painting. I was nervous about getting the exterior of our home painted, but was so pleased with the final result! Harrison made sure the job was completed smoothly and quickly. Thanks for a job well done!"

"Ernesto and his crew were amazing from start to finish. He was so kind and really paid attention to detail. He re-stained and repaired our back patio railing as well as painted our farmhouse interior/exterior doors. We will definitely call him again for any painting we need done at our home. Definitely a 5 star rating."

"My quote was excellent. My roof was installed in 1 day came back and installed the siding. Chris was very pleasant he went beyond in answering all my questions and made sure the work was completed on time as quoted. The color of the siding was not easy to find but he located the perfect match. There were no upfront cost. All the work was done and inspected before he was paid. He upgraded my roof. He even provided photos every step of the project for my insurance company. Best looking roof in the neighborhood. Chris exceed my expectations."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Taylor, TX

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
