"After speaking with the broker I was left thinking the vehicle would be delivered in FL in about 3 days or so which is how long it takes me to drive. It took a week during which I was unable to contact the company for updates during the weekend and had to extend my car rental. It was picked up in RI only one day beyond the target date. I paid an extra charge for expedited service but it turns out expedited refers to targeted pick up date; not delivery date which is in the fine print but not in telephone conversations. The driver was very careful with the car and very courteous."

"I called Mr. Barry at 9am on May 5 and asked if he could stop by to look at the 6 twelve inch tiles that were loose in our master bath. He said that he could come after lunch. He arrived at 12:30 and was ready to do the job. He had all the tools and an assistant. They went to Lowes for adhesive and grout. By 4 pm they had removed and cleaned the tile and had glued them back down. The adhesive has to cure for 24 hrs before the grout can be applied. He returned the next morning and after one hour the job was completed. He is very professional and knows what he is doing. <br />"

"We contacted AnyAssembly to install our Murphy Bed.  They were easy to contact and we were able to schedule installation rather quickly.  We felt their price was fair ($500.00).  We did run into one problem, which is why we aren't rating them higher.  While installing one of the panels of the bed, they damaged the piece.  The damage did not affect the functioning of the bed, but was noticeable to the naked eye.  They came back out and spent a considerable amount of time trying to fix the problem...unsuccessfully.  We let them know that we expected them to (1) pay for the manufacturer of the bed to make and ship a new panel and (2) properly install the panel when it arrived.  Fortunately, we did not have to test our demands because the manufacturer sent a new panel to us at no cost.  Once the new piece arrived, AnyAssembly came out and properly installed it.  <br />"

"I get them for everything they do. I know the owner personally, and I have used them for about fifteen years now off and on. They are not the cheapest folks in the world, but when they do a job, it is done right. I had some problems with one skylight outside the warranty period and the owner came out himself. He got up there, looked at it, and cleaned out some debris that had accumulated. He got a hose up, washed it down, and blew it all out. I never had a problem with it since, and that was two or three years after warranty. He assured me that it did not need replacing. They do not do unnecessary work. That impressed me. I like everything about their service and everything about their people. They are on time. They do what they say they are going to do. They are very conscientious. The workmen clean up after themselves. Anything you want out of a construction company, these guys do it well."

"I was so impressed and relieved that within an hour of my call, a service technician pulled in my driveway! The technician was knowledgeable, calm, and thorough. He searched everywhere for the snake that we had seen but my husband had been unable to capture the night before. Even though he wasn?t able to locate the snake, he put traps in many places and walked the perimeter of our home to identify where the snakes may have gotten in. He offered many options for us for ways you could help to seal up our house to try to avoid this problem in the future.  <br /> As an update: my husband got home late Friday evening and found not only the 2nd snake that we had seen the night before, but ANOTHER baby snake with that one (!!!) on top of the cement block wall behind our washer and dryer. They were not in one of the traps that were everywhere, but just sitting there... My husband wrestled them into a big plastic tote and got them out of the house and ?disposed? of them. Just as the technician had said, he believed that if there were two snakes, that there would be more (babies) ? YUCK! Therefore, we realize that we may not be done with this, although we haven?t seen anything since then, so I?m HOPING! <br />   <br /> We just wanted to convey our sincere thanks for the service provided by APM ? and for coming out FAST!! Most importantly, I have a great deal of respect for the company and for the technician - that they offer the free consultation and gave me a proposal for thorough services without pressuring me to commit right then. It would have been easy to take advantage of my fear in that situation since my husband was unavailable to help make a decision. <br />"

"Very hard working. Showed up on time and worked well into the evening. Needed some additional work performed the <br /> following day, and showed up on time to complete the additional work, as well.  <br /> Very contentious about completing the work to the liking of the customer, and made some adjustments to the initial scope of work <br /> in order to leave us satisfied.  <br /> We decided to buy our own materials, so Kevin started out by completing his measurements and letting us know what was needed. While we were out purchasing the materials, he busied himself in removing all of the old materials that were to be replaced so that he was ready to start installing as soon as we returned--no time wasted. His measurements were right on target, and the materials we purchased were not wasted. <br /> We were also impressed by the attention to details and professionalism in the performance of the work. They took the time <br /> to explain what needed to be done and our options (pros and cons) for getting the work completed. We then picked the options which best fit our budget. <br /> For example, our initial budget was to have the rotted trim replaced with word trimming, which was based on my <br /> non-professional opinion that from a cost perspective this would work best for us. However, after explaining the long term benefits of replacing the trim with composite materials, we chose to go with composite--even though the initial price was about double the cost of word. <br /> In the past we got quotes for the work from contractors who would only quote replacing the word with composite materials, so we had nothing to compare the pricing against. We liked having it explained and for us to be the final deciders.   <br /> As a final note, one of our neighbors came over and requested that he do a minor repair to an exterior light on the outside of his garage, and Kevin was able to accommodate him immediately after completing the work on our home. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Appointment was made easily online. Danny called to arrive at an earlier time. He was punctual, professional, and did an amazing job removing and replacing a kitchen lighting fixture. We are so thankful for Danny and his great work. We will call again if future repairs are needed. Thank you!"

"I had a 50-year-old house with a cinderblock basement wall that had water slowly coming through. I researched the various firms that did waterproofing and had three highly rated firms come out for an estimate. The first contractor didn’t even bring a flashlight and just looked around and said to keep an eye on it. The second gentlemen did provide detailed estimate and carefully explained the problem. Randy, the owner, from Chamberlin Washington provided a similar diagnosis and estimate. His estimate was not only a little less expensive but he looked at the entire house and found other things that could use some maintenance. This is what I liked about Randy – he looked at the whole house and discovered several smaller things that should be fixed to avoid issues down the road. These were all things I knew about already but I’m glad someone took the time to examine the entire house and not just the one issue I was having. We had then not only waterproof the outside wall but also fill the expansion joints in our patio and seal one basement window as well as re-point some mortar joints in the brink chimney. When the crew came they went to work. They also did an admirable job protecting our plants. An old section of of a 6' high stockade fence had to be removed and I bough a new section and the crew was happy to put that up. When they water tested the wall they found a small leak. They re-did the sealant and that did the trick. Randy came out and supervised critical parts of the job. He was great to work with and happily fixed a few small things at the end. Randy really cares about doing the job right. I am 100% pleased with the work they did. I watched over much of the repair and everything was done correct and by the book. Overall I can't say enough about how pleased I was with Chamberlin-Washington and their work. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone."
