"Jeff was terrific! Really thoughtful about the project. He was prompt, no nonsense, hard working, very skilled, reasonably priced, and wonderful to work with. He listened carefully to what I wanted, made good suggestions and gave me exactly what I needed on time in budget no drama. No that’s a great contractor experience!. Absolutely recommend for any concrete project."

"The guys were supposed to be at the house at 8:00. At 7:20, Jordan called and said they needed to make a stop and would be ten minutes late. I thought it was very profssional to stay in contact like that. At exactly 8:10, they rolled into the driveway. What timing! The work was done quickly and at a reasonable price. I am very pleased. I would definitely hire them again"

"Have used Alderwood twice on large backyard living space projects and recommend them highly. First, they take the time to work with you on a design (they have designers on staff) that incorporates all elements, provide you with material samples, pictures, etc. When we struggled to make decisions they took us “shopping” to see samples (light fixtures, paver types, etc) and helped us visualize. We’ve been really impressed by this process. The construction crews are highly professional. They are thoughtful and careful with neighbors when dealing with moving equipment in and out, noise, and those kinds of things. They are great communicators and set really good expectations about project length and other details. When we asked for tweaks or changes midstream there was never any grousing or grumbling - they were very focused on making sure we were 100% happy. The guys are our crew were Colin, Max and Michael, and Patrick was the Construction Manager. In both cases, the finished projects were even more stunning than we expected. Top notch."

"I am known to be a very picky A-Hole when it comes to selecting a business to do work for me. With that said, I am very happy with how professional and respectful the gentlemen were that did the work. I am not easy to please and they were able to do so greatly. The desk receptionist was awesome at getting them scheduled for me and they showed up when they were supposed to. All around great experience when you don't always get that."

"Due to the wind storm we had neither power nor water so Landon , the owner, supplied both without complaint or extra charge. the entry pad had sunk about 2 inches nearest the cabin, causing any rain or snow melt to drain toward the cabin , saturating our lower exterior wood siding and sending water into our partially finished basement. He lifted the pad gradually ,without any cracking, nearest the cabin , so any water now runs off away from the cabin and foundation. Landon was friendly, professional and efficient, explaining any questions thoroughly. <br />"

"We are using them as an ongoing landscape maintenance/lawn mowing service, and are quite pleased with their work. Not too sure on pricing yet, for we have never used this kind of service before, but we and Pacific Garden Design said we would review everything we did from this year, and reevaluate if we need all of these services in the year(s) to come, then we can adjust pricing."

"A very impressive company. Daniel met us at our home within one day of our request for an estimate. He told us what the work would entail and answered all of our many questions. He was able to schedule the job within 10 days thereafter. He ALWAYS returned our phone calls before and during the job. We had met with two other paving companies and were unimpressed with both of them. Black Diamond crew and equipment arrived exactly when expected. Daniel texted us that morning to advise that he would be 10 minutes late. He arrived 10 minutes later. They prepped the existing driveway thoroughly and worked incessantly on two very hot days. Our driveway includes a basketball area, and a fork off to a pole barn. They had to remove several sections of the driveway that had deteriorated with age, then they built up those areas and lastly put down 1 1/2+ inches of asphalt over the entire 8,450 sq ft . It was a major undertaking and not inexpensive. We had never had to contract for asphalt paving before. It looks fantastic. It has enhanced our entire property."

"<strong>Working with Matt Barton and his team has been a true pleasure. We were introduced to CopperCreek by our design-build firm as we approached the completion of our home construction. Matt immediately opened communication with our builders to be sure that the site grading, gutter system, and other components would fit with what we eventually desired in our landscape. The design phase was very smooth - after speaking with us at length, Matt put together a design that remarkably matched our desires, and with very few tweaks, we were ready to go. He was clear from the outset about the pricing, and we had been clear about our budget, while recognizing that thoughtful landscaping comes with a price; that said, there were no surprises, which we very much appreciated. Matt was very thorough about making sure that we understood what upgrades were available and what they would entail. We never felt pushed to do any part of the plan. We agreed that Matt and his team would select most of the trees and other plantings (deferring to his superior knowledge of PNW plants), and were very happy with the results. Matt also did research for us into the best type of rain barrels to install, and created a very nice space for our kids' playset. Because of strange climate conditions this season, a few of the plants did not survive, and though we were well out of when the contract stated the plants would be replaced, Matt's crew returned to replace the plantings without any questions. We are looking forward to working with Matt and his team at CopperCreek for the next phases of our landscaping project. <br /> </strong>"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Tensed, ID

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
