"I needed a fence to keep my horses from getting out on the road via a new gate I'd had installed a few months earlier. (Another company did it.) In May the gate started opening randomly by itself at odd times and my horses were escaping. I had to chain up my new automatic gate, which defeated it's purpose! Apparently the former installer hadn't coded the automatic opener correctly. So in addition to building a new 585 foot three-rail vinyl horse fence that followed my curving driveway from the road to an existing fence around my house, Carlos reprogrammed the faulty fence opener for me. My new fence has two double gates, a 12-foot and a 10 foot. It was completed in less than a week in June. I live south of Dallas and Carlos is in Greenville so it was quite a drive for him. The new fence was a substantial investment, but besides serving the purpose I needed, it is really beautiful. I wish I could attach pictures to this review. My place now reminds one of a championship Thoroughbred farm in Kentucky."

"The project went as planned. The crew arrived Monday, removed the old fence and dug holes for the new fence posts. Tuesday, they set the new posts in concrete. Wednesday, attached the cross members, and Thursday completed the fence. Friday morning finished hanging the very heavy gate and completing the job. <br /> A couple of additional comments: <br /> Blacksmith Fence rebuilt our cedar pool equipment enclosure that was destroyed in a storm for no charge after originally quoting a price in the initial quote. Additionally, they unexpectedly repainted not only the replaced driveway gate post, but the entire gate and existing post on the other side of the driveway at no charge. <br /> Generally, the workers arrived after we left for work in the morning and were gone by the time we returned home in the evening. I considered that a plus as we enjoy our evenings outside. <br /> I originally contacted Blacksmith Fence in April 2012 for a quote. I delayed scheduleing the job until September 2012. I realize there are variances in the wood slats, but most of our slats were installed with a very large gap. When dealing with this vendor, make sure the slats are installed tight in the upfront negotiations. This is not something you can fix after the work is done. <br /> <br />"

He really knows his gates. <br /> One of the wires to the motor had broken and was causing the motor to <br /> short out. He rewired the activator arm and checked out all the <br /> other connections and got it running in no time. It took him an hour <br /> to get to my house from the previous job and he was here about 45 <br /> minutes and charged me a total of $110.00. The amount he charged me <br /> seemed out the low side if you want my opinion. I'll never call <br /> anyone else for my gate work in the future. <br />"

"We have an old swing gate motor that no one wanted to work on.  After contacting 4 gate companies who refused to work on this product, I finally found Titan Gates and spoke with John (Stadler).  He was such a nice person and offered to send his best guy out to look at it right away.  I wish I could remember the name of the person he sent out because he was wonderful - so helpful and courteous and although he said that the motor brand we had was so prone to problems that no one was buying them anymore, he fixed it for us.  Although it has worked well for the last 9 months, we decided to replace our current heavy wooden swing gate with an iron one and replace the motor/operator as well.  Titan Gates was the first company I called because of their extraordinary customer service in the past.  I haven't met with John yet, but I will post a review after my next experience - I am confident that his company will be the right choice because customer service is everything and it so hard to find!! Anyone can sell or install a product but it's so important to find someone who will help when there are problems.  I am looking forward to actually meeting John in person and thanking him for the wonderful job he has done with customer service!!"
