Without a doubt, as the company's name suggests, George (owner and craftsman of Surface Rescue) certainly "rescued" our "out-dated" kitchen cabinets. He refinished each cabinet frame including the bottom, as well as each door and drawer (front and back). My wife said "They look brand new" and I agree. It was very cost effective to refinish and reuse the existing cabinetry rather than re-facing or replacing. We saved thousands of dollars. I enjoyed the fact it was a family company with many years of experience. The windows are top of the line, and the installation was very professional. The window crew was very polite, and did a wonderful clean up. The windows have performed exactly as stated by the company. Our home is now extremely warm and the noise has been drastically reduced. The windows look beautiful and have great secruity features. The patio door even has a 4 bolt locking system. The finished window also have beautiful trim on the outside. This is a fantastic family company with great products and installers. I highly recommend them!!"

"We weren't that happy with the results. It was a few years ago, and the surface is still pretty much intact. He had to use a primer and deck paint, rather than stain, and the primer showed through in several places as bright white marks against the dark brown stain. He left the extra paint so we could refinish where we wanted. We don't want or expect any follow up at this time. I understand that the deck needed a lot more work than the worker expected. So, my experience may not be a fair representation of this particular contractor.

"I have been using them for 3 years for multiple projects and would not go to somebody else. They also built a cabin in the woods. It was built 10 miles from the road so it was like carrying all the stuff up the path. They also did the garage and remodeling of the house, mostly kitchen and a little bit of plumbing work in the bathroom. I am still using them and I would be using them for the next thing that will be coming up too."
