"Larry Nelms and his crews are awesome. They poured about 12 yards of concrete in my back and side yards and also landscaped with plants, mulch, and irrigation around my entire back yard. It was very reasonably priced and looks great. After explaining that I've always had trouble getting enough water to some dying Redwood trees, he recommended and installed Netafim drip. I was skeptical as I'd tried various drip and other types of irrigation and a few of the trees were still dying and I was sure they were goners. He assured me it would work. Fast forward a couple months and the trees are thriving. He was 100% right about what to do and Netafim was the perfect solution. I'm so grateful to not lose those trees. Part of the back yard project included moving some sprinkler valves from the back/side to the front so the whole side yard could be poured and look clean. The crew accidentally cut my pool fill line as it was buried with the sprinkler valves. This wasn't discovered until weeks after the concrete was poured. After letting Larry know, he came out personally with a team of guys, cleanly cut a patch of concrete above the cut, repaired the line, and repaired the concrete. No hassle whatsoever. Larry is easy to work with and I'd recommend his services to anyone. Thanks Larry!"

For over 30 years Kaylor Landscape has been perfecting the art of capturing people's dreams and bringing them to reality in lush outdoor environments. At Kaylor Landscape we know how special your home is to you and we also know how hard it is to find a landscape company who can interpret your dreams. We understand how different each client's personality is; formal, casual, refined or rugged, every clients personality must be reflected in the final overall outdoor environment that surrounds their home. \n \n To achieve this goal, we meet with each client and listen to your ideas and dreams. As you share your vision with us and talk about the different features you would like to have included in your landscape, we begin listing key features that will be necessary to bring the setting to life. Such as; a mountain setting with hills, boulders, streams and flowers, or for a tropical setting, with palms, ponds and sweet flowering vines, or spatial estates with rich walls, formal paths and gardens. Next we talk about things such as swimming pools, gazebo's, covered outdoor cooking or eating areas. And we end by talking about ways to showcase all of this beauty with the proper outdoor lighting. \n \nNext we design a conceptual plan of the project to show you how everything will lay out. From there we give you a cost estimate on what it would take to complete the job. We itemize our pricing so that you can see the different options that you will have to choose from. Then we keep in close contact with you all the way through the construction of the project. Once the job is complete we watch over the finished project through the warranty period to help ensure that your landscape will look it's best.

"My wife and I contracted with this Gowin Green landscaping company, Tulare, Ca 93275 in August of 2020 to complete our backyard on a new construction home for 9,780.00, its been an issue after issue ever since. Paid for a Winter Rye seeding over my newly installed Bermuda sod they installed. Owners wife and job manager promised it would bring green to the winter months and not hurt the Bermuda sod. Well no green that year???? But it seems the job manager admitted they used the wrong seed! Now I have 70 percent of a short fescue looking grass and 30% percent Bermuda and they will NOT fix it. The short Fescue looking grass seed?? they used, killed most of my Bermuda sod! They claim it is Winter Rye but its been vibrant green all year and we get temperatures in the 100's every day since late May! I had to turn them into the Contractors board and their license is currently under investigation as of September 04, 2022. I posted a short YouTube Video if you want to see the results and also some tips for picking out a landscaping company and advice on what to plant after we found out the hard way... FAQs for brick and stone patios, walks, and steps installation projects in Tipton, CA

When cleaning your flagstone patio, begin by gently hosing off loose dirt and debris. Use a mild solution of white vinegar and water or diluted dish soap to scrub the surface with a soft-bristled brush. Avoid using abrasive tools, such as wire brushes, as they can damage the stone’s seal and finish. This careful approach effectively removes mold and grime while preserving the natural beauty of your patio.

Flagstone naturally offers a neutral palette that includes shades of grey, black, red, yellow, brown, and tan, and its inherent color cannot be altered. Choosing varieties like bluestone provides a subtle bluish tint that complements many exterior designs. These natural hues enhance curb appeal and create a refined, timeless look in your outdoor space, ensuring a sophisticated finish with minimal upkeep.

Flagstone for a patio must have a minimum thickness of 1.5 inches to reliably support furniture and foot traffic. Using stone that is two to three inches thick is recommended to ensure lasting durability. The increased thickness prevents cracking under load and enhances long-term performance. Investing in thicker flagstone provides superior stability and resistance to weather conditions, ensuring your outdoor space remains both safe and attractive.

You can paint a flagstone patio by using a high-quality, outdoor elastomeric latex paint designed for heavy foot traffic. Painting not only refreshes the patio’s appearance but also creates a waterproof barrier that protects the stone from damage. Regular reapplication every one to two years maintains its durability and visual appeal, ensuring your patio remains both stylish and well-protected.
