"This company came highly recommended. They seem very knowledgable and environmentally conscious. We have been pleased with their work. There have been a couple of small things that are annoying. Once, the service provider called my cell phone and left a message, but never rang the bell. We were home and he could have saved us all significant effort. Another time, someone came out for a problem, but the work order did not detail the specific problem we had called about. Again, a small problem, but he wasted his time investigating something that was already being addressed and then having to refocus on the problem at hand. <br />"

"I can't say there was anything that we disliked. The owner actually came out and planned our landscaping for us and drew a map out and put together a plan. He got that to us in a timely manner, showed it to us and then we scheduled it and when they installed it they did a great job. Other than the fact that we have trees and bushes in our backyard we really wouldn't have even known that they were here. Their prices were pretty competitive. We had a couple questions afterwards, and actually, about a month or so after everything was in they came back just to make sure that everything was going well and to see if we had any questions and just make sure that we were overall happy with things."

"Bob and his crew did a really nice job helping us to create our yard.  We scheduled with him somewhat late in the season and he fit us into his schedule.  His irrigation subcontractor did  a nice job, the landscaping beds look great, and the yard is coming in pretty nicely.  Bob is rather responsive for a busy guy. I have recommended him to my neighbors and would not hesitate to hire him again. <br />"

"The service was ok, the plant material was very good. <br /> The good:  The plant material is good quality.  We had only one tree die and it was replaced by North Branch after quite a bit of hassle.  It is now one year old and the entire landscaping looks good and healthy. <br /> The bad:  The installers did not place the plant material where I indicated it should be placed and generally did not use common sense in the placement of the materials.  For example, we purchased 7 spruce to provide a screen between our yard and our neighbors.  They put the smallest tree right in the middle, where the most screening was required.  Additionally, they did not place the trees where I had indicated, but moved them forward into the lawn.  I was not able to supervise the entire time.   When I was supervising I felt like I was treated with a bit of distain.  I had just spent $6,900 on landscape, seems like I would be treated with a bit of respect. <br />"

"Kyle Sherman was supposed to begin work the first week of August, 2014.  After multiple broken promises to show up, we finally called him and expressed how important it was that he make good on his word and get this work done before winter, as we were holding off on other work while waiting on him.  First, he told us that if we wanted to find someone else to do the work, that was okay.  After we told him, "No, we want you to do the work because it will be next to timpssible to find someone else to do it this time of the year on short notice."  He finally showed up in November (4 months late).  The work that he did was done well and, overall, we were pleased with the results.  However, he did not do the work that he billed us for (16' of trench drain when, actually, he installed (2) 4" drains) and at the same time, he did some work that he did not bill us for (new concrete step and approach). His invoice matched his quote exactly however, I'm not sure how we came out cost-wise overall. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"I had water in my basement due to a slow drain.  Since I didn't have a sump pump due to a French Drain system, the water sat in the basement and got up to 4 inches.  I called around and noone could help me immediately.  Then I called Certified Contractors.  They showed up and had the basement cleaned, then they setup dehumidifiers and fans, cleared my French Drain and let me know how much it would be to waterproof and finish the place in about a day.  Great Service.  I'll keep their number on hand when it's time to finish the basement."

FAQs for water feature fountain or waterfall installation projects in Toledo, OH

Installing a drinking fountain costs between $500 and $1,000 for indoor models and an average of $3,000 for outdoor units, including installation. The cost depends on the design, materials, and professional labor involved, with service rates ranging from $45 to $200 per hour. Investing in a drinking fountain can enhance your space's functionality and aesthetic appeal.

A water fountain increases home resale value by elevating curb appeal and enhancing overall property aesthetics. A well-cared-for fountain that matches the home’s design and functions flawlessly boosts buyer confidence and market desirability. Routine maintenance and professional installation ensure proper performance, ensuring that your fountain benefits both daily enjoyment and long-term resale value.

Maintaining a fountain costs $25 to $50 per month for basic upkeep and $50 to $150 for professional deep cleaning or servicing. A fountain of any size requires routine draining, thorough cleaning of the pump, tubing, and surface, plus regular inspections for wear, algae, or mineral deposits. Annual maintenance and sealing further extend its lifespan and enhance its appearance.

How much power your water fountain uses depends on the pump’s size and operating schedule. Smaller fountains use less than 10 watts per day, while larger cascade pumps can require up to 1,000 watts. This translates to an average increase of around $25 per month on your electric bill.

Water fountain installation takes anywhere from a few hours to several days. The installation timeline depends on the fountain’s design, site preparation requirements, and the involvement of professional plumbing and electrical services. Prefabricated water features are set up in a few hours, while custom designs require additional structural and aesthetic modifications and take much longer.
