"Gary was very responsive when I called him. He had his men fix a leak over the kitchen ceiling. He also made several suggestions as to other repairs that needed attention on the roof. I was already aware of these other roof issues, since when I bought the house the inspector did report several items that needed attention. Gary took care of all potential problems and did a great job. I hope I don't need him for a long time, but if I do, I will definitely call him again. <br />"

"I used Brian for a flat roof resurfacing about a year ago. A leak occurred a year after around a scupper, so he came out to check on it. The leak wasn't his fault, but he temporarily fixed it at no cost while he was here. So far, so good. However, the long term solution which he quoted on and I agreed to hasn't been completed, and it's been months. And, after numerous phone calls by me to follow up, I have received no return calls or status from them. So Brian, I really like what you do, but why did you fall off the map for months?"

Estimator made an error in estimating which we caught while he was here, so the error was corrected appropriately (he was new at estimating and reading figures from a chart, used figures from the wrong column). We ultimately went with a different contractor who offered a slightly different technique that made more sense to us. They offered a good price and have a good reputation in our community."

"The repair was done well and on schedule. This was the 2nd time I used Porter the first was to resurface a patio roof that was leaking. The 2nd time was to fix a roof leak that was dripping onto the garage ceiling. Issue was poor workmanship from the builder not installing flashing simply filling in an area with roofing tar. The fix required more work than I expected and actually expected Porter to come back stating the cost increased. They did not. I paid what I was quoted. Very pleased with both service calls."
