"Overall it was a fabulous experience. It couldn't possibly have gone better. <br /> Curt came out to give us a bid very shortly after we contacted PCL. He was pleasant, professional and quick. Using his tablet, he took pictures, recorded his bid, and emailed it to me before he left the property. A few days later, I had a question about the bid and Curt made another trip out to make sure that we were both on the same page. He got us on the schedule for the next week, reminded us ahead of time, and came out and did the work while we were out. I arrived home to a beautifully completed job and an invoice in my email inbox. <br /> The front walkway was pretty standard, but the portion of our driveway that needed repair was made of 6 roughly triangular pads that all meet in the center. I was worried that they would still be uneven since the pads had settled to different depths. Curt warned me that it wouldn't necessarily be possible to even them up completely, but he'd do what he could. The result is as good as I hoped, and better than I could have really expected. "This company is a pleasure to work with.   <br /> Ron Ash, owner, has a really good combination of expertise, professionalism, and care for the customer.   <br /> Our project was a concrete patio replacement at the back of the home.  It looked easy -- quick demo and quick replace.  But along the way, there were many obstacles to overcome -- extra deep inches of concrete to excavate, rock walls and glass doors to protect, limited slope for drainage, and another concrete slab to tie into. <br /> Ron's expertise and professionalism allowed him to stay cool at every point.  We were able to work together smoothly throughout the process  -- even when the team had to change tactics in demolition and again when they had to pour the concrete deeper than expected to ensure a good final product.  His entire team is kind, respectful, and a joy to have at the house.  I am a hands-on, motivated homeowner who likes to understand and be involved in the process and Ron allowed for that motivation, ensuring a good feeling all-around.   <br /> I have considerable experience with house projects and remodeling and have never written a review for someone who worked on our house.  After working with Ron Ash, I was inspired to do so.  He is able to work constructively, determine a successful course of action, and ensure that the final product is great -- a combination of talent that is not easy to find in Utah. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"It was an exceptional experience! I had to wait a couple of weeks between first contact & the scheduled bid appointment, which to me is a reasonable time frame given the type of work & time of season. I received an itemized bid within a couple of business days. Pricing wise they came in the middle. I chose Complete Landscapes because Jason took the time to walk through what I envisioned the end result to be, we discussed how the work would be done, how far out he was booked and he gave me options for small enhancements I hadn't thought of (like curbing around the beds) and included those in the detailed bid so I could make an informed decision.  I appreciated having a reasonable expectation set from the get go. Work commenced approx 30 days after the bid, which was within the estimated time frame. The crew was courteous and respectful of my property. I work from home and they ensured minimal interruptions to my day. The crew supervisor Juan made sure I was in agreement of the grading for the yard & planter beds and placement of the trees - this might not sound like much, but I appreciated being included before everything was final. I'm a hands on person, so this courtesy was much appreciated. The crew worked efficiently together, all in all it only took them 4 business days to complete the work.  When Jason walked the end result with me, he took the time to answer questions I had about the watering set up and steps to take to ensure the new sod rooted properly.  I would absolutely recommend Complete Landscapes to family & friends and use them in the future. <br />"

"The concrete work was done well; but, during the process the company damaged my sprinkler system and down spout for gutter. They seemed to have little regard for whatever damage they make.  The company was not receptive to the homeowner's desires regarding desires for the concrete layout.  It was generally difficult to communicate (get the message across).   Approximately 3 weeks after the work was done, the concrete sidewalk that lead from the driveway to the front entrance cracked.  I called the company and I have not received a response for a week after my call.  Based on my experience, I am highly doubtful that the company will ever respond.  The quality of the work and materials for the concrete seems to be done well.  Aside from the concrete work,  I had made an agreement for this company to do landscaping work at the same time that the concrete was being done.  The bid included both the concrete and landscape work.  Once the owner realized that he had underbid the landscape work, he backed out of the landscape commitment and only wanted to do the concrete work.    <br>   This company's bid was the best (lowest) compared to others.  If you decide to work with this company, I would make sure that damage that they do incidental to their work is addressed in the agreement.  I would also think carefully about the concrete design if it is going to be different than the existing.  Discuss design changes in advance with the company.  I would also discuss remediation for cracks and settling expectations and warranties  with the company.  Lastly, do not be tempted as I did to have them do any sort of landscape work.  They don't have the equipment and don't bid the work correctly.   <br> <br> <br>    "

"They came on time and finished quickly. Porch looks much better (see before and after pictures below). My only complaint was communication. I am located out of state so I wasn't there when they finished. Normally Tyler tells you what to expect after the job is done, but because I was out of state, that communication didn't happen and my expectations were different because of that. He did respond quickly when I had issues. I think they did a good job, I would just recommend being there when they are and making sure you are on the same page with them, It will save a lot of frustration on both sides. An example of miscommunication - Tyler told me there would be micro cracks after the patch dried. He said it would be like alligator scales, which to me sounded like lots of small cracks. Instead, the cracks themselves are very few, but cover a larger amount of surface area than I expected. Luckily, you don't really see them unless the porch is wet. See picture below."

"Rob and his team of professionals completed a total remodel of our kitchen and living room and we are 100% satisfied. For us, the two things we were impressed with the most was the quality of every phase of the project and the communication from Rob. Our remodel involved removing of all the old kitchen cabinets, tile flooring and carpeting- but careful removal of appliances that were going to be reused. The new plans involved installation of almost 1,000 sq ft of Coretec lvp flooring, painting of kitchen, living room and hallway, installation of new electrical outlets, can lights, hanging pendant lights and a living room fixture (with new dimmer switches), new plumbing for two sinks, and installation of a fairly complicated tile backsplash. In addition, this all was coordinated with the installation of the new cabinets from a separate company. This was all completed with very high quality-- precisely because Rob has an amazing team of professionals who work with him. Importantly, Rob was frequently proactive and always available to answer questions, give advice and provide updates. Construction projects with this many moving parts don't just fall into place on their own- they have to be managed. Rob managed it all perfectly and his final walk-through to make sure the project was finished to our satisfaction exemplifies the care he takes to be sure his clients are happy. When we have more projects in the future, we will definitely be calling Rob."

"Scheduling was a little difficult. They had a good price and came recommended, but the crew was inexperienced (2 months) and cracked my walkway. I feel a more experienced crew could have done a much better job. I ended up removing what they "Fixed" and re-pouring a new walkway. The holes they filled after drilling are all bulging. I feel like I wasted my money."
