"I hired Outdoor Visions to install almost 60 trees as a privacy hedge. Austin was friendly and very communicative, and he and his crew did a great job. They showed up on time, finished quickly, and cleaned up afterwards. I will definitely be hiring them again in the future!"

My name is Dusty Shook, I am the owner of ShookScapes LLC. Yes the name is new, but the business is not. I have been in the industry now for 20 plus years under the names Shook Lawn Maintenance and PamScapes LLC. Those 2 companies were ran and owned by my mom, Pam Shook. She is now after 30 plus years in the industry retiring and I am taking over and look forward to serving each and everyone in the north Georgia area under the new name ShookScapes. \nMy companies primary focus is “making your dream yard your reality.” The pictures I’m attaching below are just little snippets of my customers vision and my reality of making it happen. If you have been thinking and dreaming of a front yard or back yard oasis message me, email me or call. I will set up a time to meet up with you to create your very own dream yard!

"Felker Landscapes provides comprehensive landscape management for our subdivision.  They have the knowledge, crews, and tools necessary.  They are timely (even when delayed by rain), professional, reasonably priced, and clean up after each service.  In addition, many of the individual property owners within the subdivision use Andy to maintain their yards.  Andy and his project manager, Ryan, are always courteous and take care of business.  We would definitely recommend Felker Landscapes and continue to use them!"

"Richard is very punctual and professional to deal with.  He has an engineering degree and provides excellent advice.  He is even-keeled and dependable. <br /> We had to have the septic field lines replaced and the yard looked like a bomb went off.  Richard came in and replaced three  railroad tie retaining walls with segmented wall blocks.  Did an excellent job and we couldn't be happier. <br />"

"For the most part it went ok. A good clean up was done as promised on the first visit. Expected a second visit in two weeks that didn’t come until four weeks later. A good job was done but would like to have a two week turnaround time."

"The owner was very professional, but he is apparently out of town a lot, so he sends out his men to do job and they didn't always come through.  His men left the job unfinished in the back of the house but after a call to the owner, he personally came to the property and completed the work even adding trim to where fascia meets soffits and replacing two pieces of soffit at the rear of the property.   He felt really bad, apologized profusely and claimed he fired the man who left the job unfinished.  He threw in additional work for free.  I would use him again, although the price did seem a bit steep.  "

"Evergreen has been caring for my properties for more than a decade. I am well pleased with their performance. I’ve been told many times over the years that my yard is the best in the neighborhood. Blake and his crew work hard and take pride in making sure everything is tip top. Several neighbors have liked my yard and gone on to hire Evergreen for their own."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Trion, GA

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
