"Disappointed and would NOT recommend. We picked Rocky Sanders based on recommendations and his Angie's list rating. The first time he finished the floors, there were bubbles all over the floor, mostly around the HVAC vents, which he tried to sand out. He told us he used a new polyurethane and had an ‘expert’ come look at the floors. We were told it was probably something that had been put on the floors years ago. When the crew tried to sand the bubbles out it caused scratches all over the floor. He had to completely start over. He then restained and put polyurethane down instructing his crew to not run the air this time while drying. After the first coat of poly was dry during the second re-finishing and without asking permission, he sanded them all over again because he didn't like the way it looked. While we appreciated the drive for perfection, we should have been consulted before sanding our floors for a 3rd time! We were told the crew used the wrong grit for the second sanding. There were different workers here all the time and some of the workers were not professional. The three sanding left dust everywhere. The crew vacuumed the baseboards and window sills, but did not get even close to it all and there was a thick coat of dust on our newly painted walls. In addition, the baseboards and walls were scratched and stained. Do not paint your walls before your hardwoods are refinished by Rocky Sanders. He offered to have the crew come back and vacuum, but we refused based on their prior work. He was very sorry and apologized. Rocky did not ask for payment until the job was completed. At that point, he expected full payment despite the week and half of additional agony and property damage. <br /> It was really a nightmare experience for both parties and caused a lot of stress. Two positives are that he did "make it right" by continuing to work on the floors and the end product turned out nicely but horrible experience getting to that point. <br />"

"Todd provided a very detailed estimate, was very knowledgable and answered all questions we had.  The price was reasonable and Wood Bros. came highly recommended.  They started exactly on time the day we had prearranged.  They had a full crew working on our wood flooring.  They were very efficient and worked very hard each day.  They worked with my family (have 3 small boys) to make it very easy on us to continue our day to day business with little to no inconvenience.  They did an excellent job on the install and finish and communicated with me regularly to make sure we did not have questions and that we were happy with the quality. They were very helpful in picking a stain color for my steps (oak versus the new Brazilian Cherry we were installing in the rest of the house).  They chose a color that matched very well.  They made sure to put the finish coats on so that they would mostly dry before we got home.  We love the new floors and will work with Wood Bros. again when we install more wood.  To sum it up they were prompt, professional, hardworking, courteous, helpful, and considerate of the family needs.  They are a great flooring contractor! <br />"
