"Had a retaining wall extending away from our house with a defective brick cap with failing masonry and bricks falling away left and right. We also had several spots on our brick house where the brick either separated or noticeable masonry cracks were developing. Of the two contractors I considered, Pete came by and took his time to understand the issues, match mortar and to propose long-term fixes (the first contractor just looked over photos and planned to repair what was a poor design). During the job, he gave expert advice on what areas to keep an eye on moving forward (i.e. spots where the home brickwork design could be a problem later). He also noticed a neighbor's brick chimney was actually leaning by 5-10 degrees and advised her to think hard about a repair in the near future, noting an expensive repair was far better than a collapsed chimney. In my case, he removed the existing bricks from the top of the retaining wall, preserved the vast majority of them (removed the attached mortar), poured underneath a new concrete base and reinstalled the brickwork in a way that apart from the mortar (lighter white, but essentially identically to existing) was really hard to distinguish from the rest of the house. He also removed / repaired mortar around multiple cracks around the house. And in one tricky area, he removed the outer half of several bricks (which separated on their own) and cut bricks to replace and re-mortar in a way that was again hard to distinguish from the surrounding brickwork. This was a 2 day job for Pete to complete. While the job was a little expensive, it was well worth the investment to make sure that the repairs would fully reestablish the harmony and attractiveness of our exterior brickwork. I am honestly a DIY kind of homeowner who really dislikes bringing in contractors, but there is no way that I could have done this on my own, at least not without leaving behind a series of eyesores... So if you care about your brickwork's useful life and appearance, or you have a complicated repair job, I highly recommend Pete."

"This was one of the best purchases we have ever made! Our dog can go anywhere in our yard and we feel she is safe and secure. NO worries about her getting out of the gate or jumping a fence. They system commuicates with our cell phones so we know when she has challenged the boundaries, what kind of activity she has had for the day and when the battery is low on her collar. If you follow the instructions, your dog will be trained in a matter of a few days... for LIFE!"

"They did mediocre work, but they had very bad management. Gary was super nice, but he was new to the company. The ethnic installers had no respect for him. So the management fell on me the home owner. I had to point out the problems, manage the worker, complain, and be the "tough guy" <br /> <br /> They made so many huge mistakes. Ultimately they corrected the mistakes. But it was still mediocre work. For example; they pulled out all the sake property line, and didn't replace it. When confronted they lied about it to me, even though we caught them red handed doing this. Then they had to get the survey people back out to re stake the property lines."

"<p>Professionalism is lacking with this firm.  Work was done as promised.  Four or five months after its completion, I made a warranty claim.  It has taken more than three months to resolve.</p> <p>#1) Wait – wait –wait – warranty work is not given any priority.   The associate in charge of scheduling actually left me a voice mail stating this policy!</p> <p>#2) Scheduled an appointment to make the repairs and no one showed up nor did anyone call. I did receive a prompt apology once I called the next day asking why was I stood up.</p> <p>#3) Sent a repairman out who could make only one of two needed repairs – wrong supplies -- even though their procedure for warranty work requires a site visit and a written statement of work approved by me.</p> <p>#4) I came home from work one evening (June 2016) to find the second repair completed.  I was pleased it was done after more than three months of waiting.  I also felt violated because there was no scheduled appointment.  </p> <p> </p> <p>I did consider complaining about the intrusion onto my property.  However I suspected the complaint would fall on deaf ears because the owner has yet to answer my direct inquiry to him.  As I started this review, professionalism is lacking with this firm and I cannot recommend.</p>"

"Terrific. Got a new residential heavy duty LiftMaster twin gate operator installed. Paul Henderson in sales and A&A's gate techs Jon and Jonathan are terrific. Gate works great! Very secure. Opens/closes by car controller, keypad, internet, and iPhone App. Wife and I are so pleased. Leaving 5-star reviews everywhere. Will want to look at house locks sometime... and probably a small security safe and will look to A&A for whole home security."

"The man that came out and measured for estimate was very nice and helped with the layout of the fence. We accepted the estimate and set up installation date. The two men who came to install were very nice and professional. They installed fence, two walk gates and one drive gate. I had them come back to adjust one gate and have had no problems with the fence or their work. I would hire them again and do recommend them."

"I wanted to take the time to come on and write a 5- star review because I had a really great experience with Allied Fence, in particular Larry! I had a unique job, and was looking for a fence that was aesthetically pleasing and also secure from coyotes because we have an issue with them on our property, and I wanted to protect my small dogs. I didn’t even know where to begin. I had another company out first to quote us the job, and they were useless in advising me on those things. I wasn’t sure what type of fence would be right. Working with Larry with Allied, on the contrary, was amazing. He is a passionate worker and truly wanted to help me get the best fence for the purpose and also look nice. He advised me toward a regular 6’ cedar fence with coyote rollers along the top, and I couldn’t be happier with the end result! There were some bumps along the way, later on, because the fence dried over the following months and the coyote rollers needed maintenance and some bolts needed to be tightened. Some brackets also needed to be replaced with longer ones to make the rollers fully functional after the fence had dried and moved. That being said, I called Larry and Allied sent a crew out THREE more times to fix every little thing, and now it’s perfect! No extra charge for the added labor.
