Arctic Air Conditioning is a family run business that has served New Jersey since 1977. We specialize in residential and commercial Air Conditioning, Heating, Humidification, and indoor air quality. "I found Arctic Air Conditioning via the NJ Clean Energy website as they are a certified contractor for the NJ Clean Energy Home Performance Program. I researched the program before hand and knew that the energy efficient rebates (up to 4K) and financing (0% for 7 years) would be perfect for me. Arctic thoroughly accessed my home, this included examining the current equipment, calculating the size/area of the house, and took the time to discuss any issues I was currently having. The technician explained everything, answered all my questions, and let me know about the Home Performance program and how equipment has improved over the years. What I really like was that they didn't just want to replace my system, they took additional time to test my existing system to see how everything was working - this critical step showed that I was not getting enough return air for the system to run properly. Very quickly after the assessment I received their proposal which included a few different levels of equipment to match different budget levels. I also got quotes from two other contractors, but neither offered options, they seemed to offer standard packages regardless of the size of house. I chose to install a 96% efficient two stage HVAC system with 3 ton AC, a power vented 50 gallon high efficient water heater, an interactive digital thermostat with tons of settings/schedules/reporting, and adding additional insulation in the attic along with sealing any gaps/spaces in the attic floor. They also suggested an additional return to ease the system. Scheduling was effortless, and the workers arrived on time to begin the install. All the workers were excellent, they were nice, worked clean, installed everything perfectly, and they completed the job fast! I am very cautious with people working on my house, nobody cares as much about my home as me, so I was very relieved that these guys were total professionals. The new system is so quiet, looks good, and works perfectly. In the end, I am very glad I found Arctic, this project went as smooth as possible. I look forward to using Arctic to service my equipment in the future and have great confidence that they will continue to impress me... there is a reason that this company has been around for 41 years!"

"Let me start by saying I schedule an appointment that started off relatively well but turned out to be a absolute nightmare I was charge $84 for the first service guy who was there for maybe 10 minutes to say that my HVAC system showed no Sign of water damage The very next day I discovered leakage water on the floor called the company back up they sent someone else out this gentleman was so unprofessional spent time on his cell phone discussing his personal business which I decided to videotape and record out of sheer disbelief he said the leakage is because the heating mechanism you need a whole new unit to the tune of $20,000 no surprise upsell I pointed out to him that the top part is leaking he said to me oh I didn’t notice that of course you didn’t because you spent your time on the cell phone all said and done I took pictures he wrote down the model number ventured off to a plumbing supply store called me up and said I found a piece would you like me to come install I said yes but this is both after he told me that it probably take a month to get the part he comes in he spends 15 minutes he cuts the pipe and said that will cost $500 I said the day before I spent $84 for a trip charge can you minus that from this price he said no that’s not how the company works of course it’s still leaking and the problem was not fix I dare call them today because they will charge me an additional $84 for a trip charge and still will not solve my problem this company needs to focus more on the service people that they send out Lorenzo Gonzalez and Igor Gnidash We’re not good service man the first one said he was with the company for 2 years the second one said over 20 years experience 22 years experience and can’t fix one HVAC system and can’t discover We are a league is originating from that alone speaks volumes The photos below is the picture of what was wrong with the HVAC leak it was just a simple seal and they said I needed a whole new system liars and thieves."
