"I just used their online tool to estimate the costs to replace my driveway. I liked their website and their online driveway replacement cost calculator was invaluable to myself and my cousin in evaluating each of our driveway replacement costs. The only reason we did not use this contractor, was that we both live outside of their service area...way outside. I found them in a Google search and would have used them if we lived in their area. I gave them a 'B' rating only because I thought their estimated prices were higher than I was willing to pay in this area, and only for that reason. It should in no way reflect poorly on their actual work, quality, or professionalism. If their website is any indication, they should be top-notch contractors! No fly-by-night contractor would educate their customers so well or give them so much information up-front. I just tried to find it again, but couldn't. The calculator may have been: http://concrete.homeblue.com/pros/concrete-contractors.aspx?hbc=14094443&hbg=2694228263&gclid=CIK4hqmT9M8CFUlehgodHyULzg. Thank you J D Dudley Concrete Works. I wish we lived in your area!"

"When I contacted the Doster Landscaping in May, they were friendly and courteous. I asked for an estimate and Derek came to our home promptly. He returned within a few days with a plan for the new landscape and estimate for the work to be performed. The company had other projects ahead of ours, but we were given a time frame and it was accurate. The work was competed in a timely manner. The plants were healthy and beautiful and the layout was very nice. We previously had landscape lighting, not a professional job, but fairly attractive. They did not re-install it properly and it does not work. Part of the contract included trimming existing schrubs, however, is was not done. When the company contacted me about my satisfaction, I mentioned this. They did offer to come back and do this, but I declined.. During this same phone conversation a maintenance plan for all our landscaping was discussed. Derek told me he would contact me in July to set up a yearly maintenance plan. It is now the second week in August and I have yet to hear from Doster Landscaping. Just a side note, I mailed the company a check for the work as soon as I was contacted with the final bill amount so payment is not an issue. <br /> <br />I might use the company again, but I find some of their business practices unprofessional. <br />"

"Brandon came out on time and was very professional and respectful. He answered all of our questions and concerns with confidence. We have since moved to Cordova and requested that Brandon be the one to continue our service. The office lady was super helpful and they made it happen. We are now enjoying exceptional service from Safari at our Cordova home. Great job Safari!"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Union City, TN

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
