"If you are looking for someone for exterior drainage issues, don’t look any further than Mike! He is an expert and such a personable young man. Explains everything and suggests options. "3 weeks ago we called to inquire if Javornick could give us an estimate for weekly grass cutting. Vince called back immediately, came to our house within a couple days. He impressed me with his responsiveness, professionalism, and friendliness. We hired them on the spot, as the price was right. At that same time he gave us the estimate for mulching. We agreed on doing a light amount of around 4 yards. Yesterday the crew spread 7 yards and did a beautiful job - not charging us extra. I don't expect extra free mulch next year, but they certainly went above and beyond in service for us. The grass cutting has been excellent, and the clippings are blown off our walk, deck and driveway afterwards, leaving a perfectly neat lawn.
"

"They met twice with us at our home to share ideas and understand the scope of work we wanted (prior to this we had older shrubs removed). They cultivated the areas, sloped the earth, performed edging and set the plants in potential locations to see if we agreed. A total of 20 shrubs & flowering perentials were then planted with heavy duty barrier cloth utilized. Then Maryland small stones covered the barrier cloth and many outlining areas had topsoil and grass planted. The entire front of our ranch home was done plus one side and all of this was accomplished in one day! The next morning A & L arrived and installed a stone step entrance to our porchs french doorway (a very nice touch). They gave us recommendations for plant care and were very nice people to hire. I recommend them if you are looking for good honest people."

"Joey, Ryan and the crew were prompt, professional, responsible, hardworking and consciencious; all very pleasant to work with and easy to communicate with. We had no issue with them the entire time they were performing the job, which took a few days to complete.

The night we watered the lawn for the first time after hydroseeding, it poured down raining and washed a good part of the newly seeded lawn away. In despair, we called Joey the next morning. He came a few days later to inspect the damage and promised to reseed/overseed the badly washed off areas in about a month. As promised, the crew rolled back in about 5 weeks later to aerate and reseed/overseed (dry seed) the damage areas without giving us a chance to pay them extra.

I waited a year to do the review so we could have a good idea how the lawn would turn out. The rye grass has mostly died off now and the fine fescue is generally well established, though the drought this summer did stress it. Not too much weed except in the areas where the hydroseed and good topsoil were washed off that first night. We might need some overseeding and weed control soon.

Overall, we are well pleased with Joey's work. Although email and phone correspondences took some time, Joey is trustworthy and reliable. He is a man of his word and a firm handshake, the good old fashion way.

"

"The woman who booked my appointment was very friendly and helpful. She patiently listened to my concerns about an issue I was having with a wood stove, and she was able to arrange for someone to come to my house the next day.
The two men who came were very professional and courteous and took great care to treat my home with respect. They checked my wood stove and offered me advice regarding the problem I was having, and they cleaned two chimneys in a reasonable amount of time. They left my fireplace, wood stove, and surrounding areas very clean and tidy. Before they left I was given an itemized bill, and everything on the bill was clearly explained to me.
I do have to say that the price was outside my budget, but I had never hired a professional chimney sweep before this, so I didn't know what to expect. However, I am still very pleased with my experience with Spike's Chimney Sweep, and I will use their service again in the future.
"
