"I am very satisfied with the work that Thompson & Thompson did. I had researched LP Smartside and RigidStack, which has paint baked on and carries a 30-year no fade warranty. We had the paint custom matched and it is absolutely perfect.  <br /> <br /> This was the first time the installation crew had installed RigidStack. They did a very nice job. I have had several neighbors comment about how nice it looks. The Thompson crew cleaned up every night. I may have been a more involved customer than some and I liked that. I felt like I was able to converse openly with the whole Thompson team. They were very responsive to my text messages. They matched the caulking to siding color. It looks custom color, too. <br /> <br /> Thompson also made some modifications to our roof line where we have experienced water issues. Not enough time has lapsed as yet to truly test it, but all indications are that we will no longer have issues. "My wife and I moved to Omaha in 1996 and settled in Millard. After a year or so, we decided to update our home with vinyl siding and new windows. "I’m very pleased with our basement renovation and I will hire them again for the next project. Brad and his team were phenomenal to work with and they helped us design a living space that was a perfect fit for our needs. The price quote was broken down really well so we knew exactly what the costs were and where we could go higher or lower depending on what we wanted. The renovation added almost 700 square feet of comfortable living space that is well lit for reading or games or can be darkened when watching movies on the big screen. They even incorporated built-in shelving that enhances functionality of the space while giving it unique character. The project ran about 11 weeks, but that included several busy holidays and they were very transparent about other commitments. Renovations this large are bound to hit snags, but their excellent communication and proactive nature meant the issues were small and resolved quickly to our satisfaction. Everything stayed on budget with no surprises. We did framing, electrical, drywall, flooring, insulation, cabinetry, plumbing (bathroom), and paint. We will definitely hire Lasting Improvements again."

"The workmanship is top-notch. The new skylight does not leak. They replaced the surrounding shingles, and even some of the sheathing underneath that had sustained some water damage for no additional charge. I wish they had communicated better about the timing of the installation. It was delayed a couple times with no notification or explanation. Sometimes this is because of weather and out of their control, but they could have been more proactive about informing me of the status. Also, there was some confusion about the availability of the product I selected. It wasn't until after installation when they told me that the higher-end skylight was not available in the correct size. But we are pleased with the final result, and the price seems right."
