"William and his apprentice installed my new 10000 watt portable generator hookup and they did a great job! They showed up early, worked non stop and showed me exactly how to operate the generator in an emergency. They also hooked up my generator transfer switch next to my main panel and rewired the circuits. They are fantastic electricians that I will he hiring again!"

"Brad did a very nice job for us. We were having trouble with the electric line out to our carriage house which was preventing the electric garage door from opening. Additionally, we needed to run another line to the back yard for a pond that will be installed next month. Brad had a landscaping company come on day one and dig the trenches that were required. This work was done quickly, carefully and neatly. On the following three days, Brad and his assistant laid the conduit, installed junction boxes at the main house and the carriage house, pulled the lines, updated the sub-panel in the carriage house and installed two four-gang outlets in the yard on a Trex post with a cap. Everything was done carefully and neatly. Additionally, Brad was always pleasant and smiling. He even helped me take apart a chair that I was returning and needed to pack for shipping. I wouldn't hesitate to have him back again."

I left a message with Mr. Electric and they called back within an hour.   I told them the problem and they went to the site and determined the problem.   Mr. Electric called and let me know what the problem was and the cost of the repair.   I gave the OK and they completed the repair.   All of this was done within  4 hours.

Mr. Electric was very easy to deal with, I will use them again when needed.

FAQs for generator repair projects in Valley Forge, PA

Always start by confirming the pro’s license number, insurance coverage, and experience level. Visit the electrician’s website, scan recent customer reviews, and verify credentials with your local labor department. Request proof of liability insurance and at least two references that you can contact. These quick checks take only a few minutes but go a long way toward ensuring safe, code-compliant work and protecting your home in the event of an issue.

Grouping several electrical jobs into one appointment means you pay a single service-call fee and one set of travel expenses. Instead of asking a pro to return three separate times for outlets, switches, and fixtures, have everything tackled in one visit. The electrician stays productive, and you avoid extra trip charges, often shaving a sizable chunk off the final bill without compromising quality.

DIY electrical work can be dangerous and, in many areas, illegal without a license. One miswired connection risks shocks, fires, or expensive damage. Licensed electricians carry the right tools, follow local code, and know how to shut down power safely before they start. Hiring a pro may cost more upfront, but it protects your home, family, and insurance coverage in the long run.
