"Neighborhood Remodelers did a bathroom renovation for us in 2020. Mike Cooper was the project manager. They also replace all of the trim on our second floor fast forward three years later where we replaced our upstairs flooring and came to find out that Neighborhood Remodelers used 3 inch trim and elevated on the wall to act like 5 inch trim. Extremely shady. We also came to find out that they buried an electrical box even though they told us that they wouldn’t do anything like that. extremely disappointed with this company. Please think long and hard before using them."

They installed interior doors, recaulked my tub & refinished my wood floors & installed new trim. They also fixed a bedroom ceiling that was water damaged & painted it.I will hire them again in the future. I recommended them to my neighbor."

"This is a difficult review to write. Some of the work do​n​e by Welter Home Services was good and the handyman they sent didn't waste any time going between jobs​ on my list​. ​ The main work that was done well was installation of 2 shower grab bars​ and fixing a kitchen cabinet garbage can door that eventually broke after over 20 years of constant use. ​ Unfortunately, some of the work was ​totally un​acceptable and they do not stand by their work, even when notified within 24 hours​ of the work being completed. If they can classify it as a "repair", it's buyer beware! If it breaks again or you see something unacceptable 1 min after they pull out of your driveway, they actually expect you to PAY THEM to fix their own poor work! The work that was not at all satisfactory was the installation of weather-stripping on 2 doors and fixing a broken screw on my desk's keyboard drawer. It took 3 attempts to get the drawer (hopefully) fixed, of which I had to pay for 2 of the attempts. My front door is admittedly not the best and they did make it close easier (not on my fix-it list). However, in the process, they left such a large gap between the door and the weather-stripping that I could see sunlight coming in between the door and the frame. The handyman actually tried to tell me that I was just seeing the weatherstipping, but I guarantee you that I can tell the difference between sunlight that leaves a shadow and some light-colored weatherstripping! I have since installed some foam weatherstipping to stop the massive air leaks before the weather turns and it becomes too cold for the foam to stick properly. I ​paid t​hem almost $220​, and then had to fix it myself​! Adding insult to injury, when I called to complain about the large gap they left around my front door, the owner Kevin Welter told me twice that "he hoped I would be reasonable"! As a woman of a certain age, that sexist comment translates as "Just be a good girl and stay quiet!" Would he DARE make such a comment to one of his male customers? I will NEVER use them again - sexist or not - as I feel that anyone who does not have enough pride in their work to stand by it and fix something that is clearly unacceptable is just not trustworthy."

"Tom was excellent. He was very accommodating and easy to work with. Excellent attention to detail and great finished product. His carpenter did a great job of repairing split and rotted cedar boards. It was a positive experience. I would hire Tom and his team again."

"Peter and Daniel arrived as scheduled. They brought in their equipment. Then Peter asked to revisit the areas he needed to work on because it had been a few weeks since he had come to make an estimate. (We had gone out of town for a while.) Peter then asked to look at any paint we had. He saw that he needed to get an additional can of paint and briefly left to get some. Meanwhile, Daniel got started. Peter and Daniel worked all day, stopping only for a quick lunch. The house looks perfect! My husband and I are both very pleased. Peter and his workers are very precise. In addition, Peter is especially friendly and approaches projects in a professional manner. He explains things very clearly and asks questions to make sure he knows what the customer wants. His employees are just as nice. We have hired Peter before, and we will hire him again in our new home. I highly recommend this business."

"There were several tradesmen involved as it was a complete gut. Found Groff in local listing search on internet as I like to hire from neighborhood. Aaron responded and never failed to respond within a reasonable time to my messages, gave a great price, had polite workmen who did cleanup after they finished. Aaron is very professional, laid back and reasonable. All issues were addressed timely. The painters were methodical and attentive to detail. Basement turned out beautifully"
