"Dustin was polite and informative. He insisted I needed a complete tear off having heard from me that another contractor had determined there were a few plywood sheets needed! I do not know if he found the same on inspection oOR if she just went on the word of the other guy! I have had 4 estimates which is only prudent! I informed him that I did not request a total tear off. He said it required one and I replied, being on my way to an appointment, that we would not be doing business, He emailed me, calling me rude, mocking my obtaining several estimates, said I was misinformed which causes me to distrust him, said I was rude…I was not! I I had said we not be doing business but thank you very much and hung up. Dustin told me he would not want to be doing business for someone like me anyway! His estimate was for over $18,000 and he came in high in comparison with other contractors. I am offended by his obnoxious criticism of me, the customer, who did not agree with his analysis of my project! I was not being rude to him, just shirt and to the point because I was on my way out the door! Dustin needs to learn how to do business. His immaturity is showing. I have responded to his obnoxity straightforwardly, am taken aback by it and certainly can’t recommend him."

"First job was a roof replacement. I researched a handful of contractors and chose him. He was moderately priced but had the best value for the dollar. He was also able to get to the project sooner. He and his crew were always there on time. Did a good job and left everything cleaned up. Very professional. A couple of years later that roof developed a leak. (It happens.) He came out the same day I called him and had it repaired. No charge, of course. A year or two later another older house I own and rent developed a moisture problem. He came out on the same day I called him. He spent 1.5 hours on the job investigating the source of the leak and then repaired it. Didn't charge me anything because I was one of his "customers". Joel Ventura is the contractor I want. He is timely, not over priced and very professional. He stands behind his work and his reputation."

"After the last storm, most of our front rain gutter tore away from the roof line and fell to the ground. We called Ron Jones and he came to our house and gave us an estimate the same day. Later in the day he called to say his crew would replace the gutter the next day. They found a problem causing them to use straps that nailed into the roof to hold the gutter in place, and Ron did not charge anything extra for using them. The old gutter was removed and we were very happy with the new gutter. I would definitely hire JSR again and would recommend them to others."
