"Ok so I am writing a review everywhere I can for David and crew. Basically havr been using David and J&D for every aspect of the house! Windows, Doors, Facade wall, Kitchen, Siding etc. Have yet to have any bad experience with these guys!! Wonderful, efficient, courteous, professional, and I cannot say this enough… what a crack up! Thank you so much guys for taking care of me and my winderful “new” home. It is an honor and a pleasure working with you!"

"Project was said to take 3 weeks but between personal problems with eviction, moving, his crew getting locked up, dental work, no gas, bla-bla-bla, it took extremely longer to get moving. I'm sure u get the idea that project was not completed in a timely manner and should never have been dragged out for months. My recommendation is to make sure you get a time line in writing and add a default clause into the contact to be on the safe side if your decide to use this guy. In my opinion, this business operator took on more than he could handle and failed to deliver. Worst experience I ever had. Phil has terrible time management skills in additional to poor money management problems. Use caution if u decide to deal with him and his wife, Marcella. Business owners should not have their personal problems impacting their clients. That is your bread and butter, after all. Plus the fact that is not professional. They take very little responsibility for there shortcomings. His poor shabby work actually created more problems with leaks due to roofing materials not put down or fastened properly; unbelievable. In addition, the job site was not kept safe and secure with children present all summer; hazards that even involved a close mishap with his own son on a ladder. Consider this experience when considering this business for your job. Just want to warn others before they are faced with similar problems."

"Starkrete products are not professional and they don’t stand behind their product. Starkrete came out to my house and did a free estimate for resurfacing my garage floor, went over all my options, let me look at different “color” schemes, explained how they repaired cracks, and also explained that I would not need to have my floor leveled. They talked about how they do this type of work all the time and was a simple job. They seemed very professional and when the quote came back I decided to go with them as they were in line with other companies. I was told it was a 3 day process, so I took off from work and at the end of the 3rd day I went into my garage and was shocked to see that the final coat was completely missing in 4’ section, in other sections the floor felt like walking on nails and finally there was/is a foggy look in sections. They explained to us later it was due to putting down the coating during colder weather. After going back and forth multiple times with Starkrete they agreed to fix the issues, as they admitted they had forgotten to smooth out the star chips on day 2, and they were not sure how they managed to miss the final coat in large areas of the floor. After leaving from the repair job, I re-inspected the floor and found they STILL were missing sections (i.e. the coating did not go up to the garage wall), as well as the foggy color was still present, which they explained they can’t fix until summer. As I could not afford to take off another day of work, my girlfriend stayed home from her work and sat in the garage and inspected the job herself and pointed out the areas they seemed to continue to miss. This whole process took multiple weeks to which our cars had to sit outside. A few weeks after they left we received our first rain only to find the garage floor had horrible pooling issues. After calling Starkrete about the issue, it was explained to me that I never paid for the floor to be leveled, to which I reminded them that I was told it was not needed. Sadly they would not do anything to fix this, without me paying for the additional modification. I asked if they felt like this was their standard quality of work and that I felt the quality was extremely sub-par and a partial refund was warranted. This was months ago and I have never received as much as a call back. I have been talking to co-workers about this issue and lack of “standing behind their product” and have heard similar stories. I would avoid this company as they are not as professional as they advertise."
