From what I understand one (or two) of the crew members were son(s) of the owner. They did most of the work while training with a seasoned trainer. "I contacted Hastings and Sons. Mason came out and I showed him what I wanted done, which was to have an existing old patio slab removed and a new one extended out, along with a front sidewalk from the driveway to the porch. He explained everything to me in detail. He was very nice, and knowledgeable. His crew came out on a Saturday and started removing the old concrete slab. Their digger broke so they had to go get parts to fix it. They returned on Monday and finished. Mason came out and inspected their work. I was very pleased with the work they did! The patio and sidewalk look great!!! I’ve gotten so many compliments on it. The first time we had a heavy rain I noticed in one area of the patio water was pooling and running towards the basement window and foundation. I sent Mason a txt with pictures. He promptly came out and looked at it. The next day the head crew guy came out and said they would wait until the rest of the concrete properly cured then they would scrape that one section and redo it. I’m very pleased with this company and the work they do. I would recommend them to family and friends. As a matter of fact I’ve already told one of my friends about them. I won’t hesitate to use them again when my driveway needs replaced. They do good work for a reasonable price!"

"Robert is a firendly, very professional all around fix-it-guy! He saved my bathroom renovation project! I originally hired Robert to install drywall in my master bathroom. Just prior to the install I broke a plubming fixture in the master bathroom. Without missing a beat Robert gave me an estimate for the plumbing repair as well as a slight enhancement (raising the shower head 4 inches, I'm tall). He completed the plumbing repair, testing the water seal then launched right into the dry wall project.. I'm a pretty finnicky guy when it comes to blemishes on the wall or visible seams yet cannot find a single fault in his work."
