"The septic tank was pumped satisfactorily. The problem we had was that our gate and latching mechanism were damage by his employee doing the work. We were told that the gate was damaged. We called Mr Andrews after we discovered that gate was damaged. Mr Andrews told me that his employees were independent contractors and were responsible for any damages that occur. Mr Andrews asked me to send him pictures and a description of the damage. He said he would have his independent contractor contact me to resolve the issue. To date we have not heard from his independent contractor or Mr Andrews to resolve the issue The company does a good pumping your septic tank but doesn't take care of any damages that they cause. "This past august Hastings and sons did a major concrete project for us. This project included a 12 ft by 12 ft slab for a shed, removal and replacement of a 12 ft by 24 ft patio including step, replacement of front poach, side walk, and removal and replacement of a 16 by 36 ft driveway. We were very disappointed with the workmanship of the driveway. We also received numerous negative comments from friends and neighbors. After seeing the driveway in person, the owner, Shawn Hastings, said the work definitely did not meet his companies standards. at our request He agreed to replace the entire driveway (For a nominal fee). This past week he made good on his promise and he and his crew replaced the driveway. We have since received Several comments from the people who saw it the first time. and they were amazed at how much better it looks now. We gladly give this work a 5 star rating (6 star if we could). We want to especially thank Shawn and his crew (Diego, Scott, and Victor). They worked well together as a team, were meticulous in doing the job right, especially in their attention to detail, and were very respectful. It was a pleasure meeting them."
