"I went with this company because of all the 5 star ratings. I wish I had the pleasure to experience a 5 star service. Unfortunately, I did not. I first have to say that overall the installation of my doors were good. However, in order for me to give 5 stars, the following has to ensue. Professionalism, Punctuality and attention to detail. The head installer Jacob, first arrived with a nasty disposition and when the project started, he had the audacity to have a full blown loud argument with his co-worker in my house, which made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. Secondly, they were to arrive between 8am & 9am, I get it if one is running late because of traffic or other unforeseen circumstance. They arrived after 9am and a courtesy call would of been nice. Once the project was done, there was no initial walk through with the head installer. Because I already felt a bit intimidated by the earlier ordeal between jacob and his co-worker, I did not ask Jacob for a walk though nor did he offer one. I took it upon myself to do a quick inspection. Everything at face value seemed to look ok. So the next morning once everything settled, I did a more thorough and lengthy inspection. I discovered issues that in hindsight I wish I could of addressed the day of the project. Please see attached photos for what I found. Although these issues I found are minor, I have to say that for almost $10,000, I expected a perfect job to be performed from start to finish. The pictures below are a result of someone not paying attention to detail."

After several other successful home projects (windows, entry door, and storm doors), we chose Graboyes once again to replace the entry door and storm door in our family room. Marcia, our design consultant, was exceptionally thorough and helped us through many decisions we probably wouldn't have considered on our own. "Materials were ordered swiftly, and the team organized their subcontractors to complete the sequential work in as little time as possible. Most importantly, Sam, Anthony and project manager Adryan were on site every day coordinating the work and reachable within a moment's notice. In a very short three and a half weeks in August, the Universal team completed the complex plan.  New Pennsylvania fieldstone masonry work at the base of the home was installed first, including a new retaining wall.  A brand new timber tech rear deck was built.  Twelve new windows were installed.  All new James Hardie siding was installed and a substantial nine by twelve foot front portico completely transformed the front of the home.  Large scale reno is inexorably daunting, but the Universal team was communicative throughout the process. Any minor tweaks required or requested were met with prompt action to ensure the project was completed to expectations. We recommend URS for any exterior renovations. TY."
