"We feel fortunate to have found John Robbins Flooring on Angi. From the first conversation with John’s wife Charlotte, we felt well taken care of. We knew we wanted to replace carpet with hardwood floors, but that was about it. When we met John, we knew immediately that he was the one to hire. This man knows his stuff! John and Ray did an incredible job installing our floors, paying attention to every detail. They are true craftsmen and a pleasure to do business with. If you want to hire the best to install your hardwood floors, we highly recommend John Robbins flooring."

"Absolutely OUTSTANDING! I would highly recommend Humberto. Professional, trustworthy, organized, reasonable rates and did an amazing cleanup after replacing my floors. I had him return to my home to completed other tasks, including chaging ceiling light with fan, multiple curtain rods and hanging up frames. All task completed as requested. I felt like he took care of my home like he would take care of his own."

"Frank and his team of flooring installers did an amazing job removing old carpet, repairing the wood subfloor, and installing underlayment and marmoleum cinch loc planks throughout the entire condo. Frank was prompt, communicative, and knowledgeable, and flexible with our schedules. Highly recommend this company!"

"Very efficient, very meticulous, no rushing to get done, their priority to do an excellent job was important to them, very polite, very reasonable! I highly recommend them!"

"I would have put 4 stars because, although the floors were done beautifully, there was some lousy communication during the process. The crew was supposed to be completely done by Thursday, so I started going about my day in the house on Friday and was unpleasantly surprised to see them show up to "finish". They also left a giant pile of trash on my lawn after completing the job (not just sawdust which I expected, but a pile of carpet padding which was not from my house). It was difficult to get in touch with anyone to get answers for a few days over the weekend. The reason I'm giving 5 stars is that, when I finally did get a response, I talked directly with Marteen the CEO, who was very apologetic about the trash and lack of communication regarding the crew's need for an extended timeline, and came by to remove the trash himself. He checked in afterwards to make sure I felt better about the whole experience. The crew actually did an amazing job on the floors and they look brand new, I just wish their mindfulness and communication during the job was a bit better. So what would have been 4 stars is definitely 5, and Marteen's effort is the reason. I've been recommending TLC since. If you want your hardwood floors to look amazing without paying through the roof, TLC is the place to go."

"Chris did an outstanding job installing our kitchen floor as well as flooring in our two foyers. He had good attention to detail as the flooring is perfect. He also cleaned up each day after working. I do plan to hire him again for another project."

"Went great everyone was incredibly professional and I recommend them to everyone who needs their floors done. Will hire again if I need floor redone"

"A&W hung two sets of doors for me in the basement, and put in new skirting on my stairs (to cover ugly skirting that was revealed when I switched from carpeted stairs to wood). Their work was top-notch."

"Justin did a wonderful job installing our flooring and remodeling our bathroom! He was reliable, kind, and efficient in his work. We would definitely hire him again!"

"Our first use of Empire was nice. They were timely, clean, and did a very nice job with our master bedroom, hall and office conversion from wall-to-wall to hard wood. Two years later we opted to use them again to remove the carpet from the remaining bedrooms from carpet to hardwood. The installers were great BUT the sales guy needs to retire. He stated that 4 bedrooms could be done in a day. With an ample size crew - ok. BUT 3 guys showed up and one left after getting the first two settled. Then later the another left leaving one guy. We were dumbfounded. They arrived at 9 a.m. and left at 11:35 p.m. We fed them lunch, we fed them rib eyes steaks for dinner. They plowed through. The sales guy called asking how it was going around 4 p.m. and I wanted to strangle him. NEVER AGAIN. Empire called to followup and when I tried to call back I got nothing so in essence they got paid and they don't care. Lesson learned - old sales guy lie."
