"I want to give a fair review that reflects the quality of work and my thoughts throughout the project. The crew that arrived to provide the quote were friendly and offered a very good deal for a 4-zone mini-split, and I excitedly agreed to do the job. Unfortunately, my installation was delayed by three days at the last minute. It did not bother me, but it shows there is a need for improved communication and scheduling in the company. When the installation crew finally arrived, they were very enthusiastic, friendly, and were always willing to install the system the way we wanted it. They took their time to make sure it looked great. Since they are a new company, finding their rhythm, the job took three days instead of the stated two. The end result was a very good and clean install with no issues or major concerns. Overall, AllSet Home shows great potential for being two months old and no doubt will become even better over time. "I called Desert Star Electric on Monday morning and left a message, within a few hours Shirley called me back to set up an estimate appointment for yesterday. Their electrician came out, came up with a plan and a price quote then let us know he'd be able to get to us on Friday of this week. This morning the A/V company that was contracted by the restoration company to reinstall the theatre electronics came across a big problem they're not licenced for. Wiring power to the projector for our theatre room. The existing wiring wasn't up to fire code at all and needed to be redone, so I picked up the phone and called Shirley to see if that's something that they can do. It is and she let me know that their electrician and apprentice could actually get started on the can lighting installation plus get the wiring done for the projector this afternoon. They showed up at about lunchtime and by 3pm, we have 6 can lights and an up to fire code wiring system for our theatre projector. They're on time, polite, very reasonably priced, extremely knowledgeable and we're absolutely going to use them for any future electric needs in our house. Thank you so much Desert Star Electric!"

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
