"I contacted Hoyt for a quote. Charles came out and made a thorough presentation, leaving me with a pamphlet explaining the product to be used. Within a day I received an email with a quote that was comparable (even a little more attractive) than the other half-dozen quotes I had received. I checked references and reviews, and decided to hire them to replace my 20+ year old roof. I was advised that the final cost could be more depending on how much wood repair was needed. I was also advised that the cost was higher due to the cost of wood (pandemic). I needed a start date delayed due to my schedule, which was to the company's advantage. The rest of the work was done efficiently, and crew cleaned up each day leaving the house looking neat. They even worked the weekend to complete the job before the next rainstorm! They were very pleasant and courteous, and were thorough and meticulous throughout. They cleaned up and neatly stored tools and materials at the end of each day. As a retired construction superintendent, I was pleased with their attention to detail! When I asked about roof vents and flashings, they freshened up the paint at no additional cost - even though it was never discussed prior to start. One thing to be aware of; even though sanding and patching of wood trim was included in the original quote,apparently stucco patching was not included since the extent could not be determined until water-blasting was done.
