"We could not have been more pleased with the entire process. Josh emailed us with a written bid, which was altered without fuss after we decided on a slightly different heating unit after further research of Trane products online. The installation was delayed for a week due to weather, but his crew showed up on the rescheduled appointed day on time and ready to work. The installation took the entire day, as expected, but by the end of the day we had beautiful, cool, clean air throughout the entire house. New ducting was installed including the cut-in of two new return registers, which were done with skill and perfection. The three-person crew was very careful not to damage any walls, floors, carpet or furniture as they worked throughout the house. They swept and cleaned the hardwood floors, while we vacuumed the tiny bits of debris from cutting in the new registers. Josh stopped in to inspect the progress of the installation and promised to return the following day to blow insulation into the attic and set up the wi-fi thermostat for us. On day two, Josh and his assistant blew in 10 bags of insulation (he quoted us 15, but only used and charged us for the 10). The Trane thermostat is like a mini-computer and Josh connected it to our wi-fi, helped us download the ap to our phones so we can control the thermostat from them, and showed us the major functions and how to adjust them. Finally, we settled the bill which included a rebated discount. It has been three days since the install and our home is cooler and more comfortable than it has ever been in the 8 years we have lived here. The additional ducting has improved overall airflow and balanced the cooling in the problematic rooms. For example, our bonus room is now a very comfortable usable space with the addition of the air return duct he put in. The a/c is so quiet we cannot tell if it’s on or off. With the humidity control and 5” air filter, the air has never been cleaner or more comfortable. We’ve been able to raise our thermostat level from our usual 72’ to 76’ with comparable cooling effect. We expect to realize some energy savings with our new system. "I bought my own heating and air units myself. I did all the research myself and put them in. They are different heating and air units. I had to go over there a couple of times because they kept telling me they would come back. There was an issue with the heating and air; it was nothing they did but it wasn't running the way it was supposed to. I went over there personally and they said they would send somebody the next day. That was back in June. I figured out the issue and corrected the problem myself. I probably saved myself a few hundred dollars. I have used them in the past when I had a butcher shop and I never 100 percent enjoyed their service because it always seemed like they would patch it just to keep coming over. I wouldn't knock them. They were the only ones that I could get to come over and do this job that needed to be done. Other contractors said they couldn't come over because I didn't buy the units from them and it was a hot summer. The price was a little high for what I needed done. A good contractor is harder to find than a good doctor so I will use them again because they are probably the only ones that I will be able to get over here."
