John was on time for the estimate, described the work in detail, and laid out the different options with complete honesty. For the repavement, John had to work with our insurance company and was quick to respond and adjust the descriptions in the estimate to fit insurance requirements. He was wonderful to communicate with and was always very responsive throughout a somewhat tedious process. When the work began, John was able to work around a difficult to enter backyard, and adjusted the project as our needs changed and was so incredibly accommodating. "John came out and price it up (the second time in two years).  When I asked about a time frame to do the work he was several weeks out which was fine by me.  Paid my 50% deposit.  A week or so later he said he had an opening and they were over ripping everything out and got all the demo done, the patio formed and re-bar installed.  This was a Friday.  Saturday they were back and poured the concrete, did all the stamping, and staining, expansion joints, and put in the border.  Sunday they were back to pressure wash and seal it all and were done.  <br /> I had gotten 3 prices and he was the lowest by a couple of grand.  He had good references and reviews on Angie's list so I went with him. <br /> I needed him to come out about 6 months later to fix a chip (caused by me) and he did at no charge.  We are very happy with it.  A hot tub sits on one end and I've not seen any cracks <br /> We've been very happy with it. <br />"

"Lew's Concrete Construction is truly a professional company. Tony did what he said he would do and did it when he said he would do it. Tony worked along with his son and other employees to produce a great finished product. They removed and replaced the concrete floor of a double garage and an adjoining section of driveway, sidewalk and door step. They worked 11 hours in one day to complete the project. "Chad was extremely responsive and reliable all through the process, from the initial bid through the close-out meeting. He is also extremely pleasant, personable and easy to work with. He fully explained all the options, and the pros and cons of each. He kept me apprised of any issues along the way (getting several layers of glue off of the kitchen floor - some had been there 50 years - and unexpected unevenness of the concrete) that would cause delays and possible imperfections in the result. Those issues caused him to work much harder and longer than anticipated; yet he did not increase the cost or try to take any shortcuts. The results are fabulous! They exceed my expectations. I am more than pleased and would recommend the company him and his brother own for any and all concrete work. I literally could not be happier."

"It was good.  The guy that came out was really good.  The estimating process was really good but I'm not a fan of their service because when you have a handy person, you expect when you hire them for a job you want them to tell you everything needs to be done.  Replacing the back stairs from the backdoor to the patio and he gave me an estimate but when he came, cut everything and did everything I just asked him a question about weather proofing or something and he said " Oh no! This isn't weather proof." "You're going to have to stain it."  So why did he gave me a bid.  He did the stairs but I have to stain them myself so I'm like a little annoyed.  I think the guy was really nice, his effort was good because the problem that I have with the lock I think I kind of irritated him because of the stairs.  He did do the work and it was okay; it wasn't perfect.  I'm difficult to please so I think it would have been better. "
