I reached out to Arch Masonry, and Derk promptly contacted me, coming to our home to provide a fair estimate for the job. Derek’s employees were professional and completed the work with great care. We had the front of the house mended, and we were so pleased that we decided to continue the masonry work on the back of the house and the foundation. Derek was timely in his work and offered competitive pricing. I would highly recommend Arch Masonry to anyone seeking high-quality masonry services. "On 10.23.23 I hired Shamrock Chimney, address, 3 Mountain St. E, Worcester, MA, 01606, telephone: 508.433.0609, to clean my chimney; upon inspection of the chimney, I was told that the cement crown was damaged and needed replacement, as well as resetting loose bricks at the top of the chimney. The total cost for this work was $1,500.00. This work came with a Lifetime warranty on the 2 steel rain caps, and a 5-year warranty on the masonry. On Feb. 10, 2024, I called Shamrock Chimney and told them that the caps were moving out of place on top of the chimney, tilting as they might be ready to fall off. I told Shamrock's representative that I was fearful that the caps could fall down damaging my roof and cars, or injuring someone walking into my house on the walkway below. Shamrock told me that someone would be out to ensure that the caps were properly secured - however no one from Shamrock came out. After nearly 2 months with no response from Shamrock, on April 4, 2024, I called Shamrock"

"I hired Rich in April 25 to demolish and rebuild my cement front stairs. He wrote on the contract that the work was to be completed by the end of May. Needless to say, he never attempted to do the project. I confronted him via text message in October that I wanted my deposit back. He apologized stating that he had to fire a bunch of people (sound familiar to anyone?) and had run into some personal problems. He promised to refund my deposit. When he failed to keep his commitment, I notified him that I was going to file a complaint with the Attorney General's Office, he did not bother to respond. I filed the complaint. I hired him because he had 5 stars on Angie. I don't understand how this rating was possible. I strongly advise seeking a different contractor."
