"After reviewing several roofing companies on Angi and elsewhere, as well as one family recommendation, we went with Seidel to have all the singles, underlying materials, and gutters replaced on our ~ 25 year old home. The first thing to know about this company is that Udo is a knowledgeable professional who is happy to answer any questions leading up to the job, and assist with things that can be challenging, like getting permits or working with HOAs. During the work he checked in multiple times and even supplied some photos of the roof while the crew was up there, to confirm boards were all OK. In short, he doesn't miss details and does a great job communicating throughout. We went with a higher grade of shingle and supporting materials, and so far (after 30+ days and several storms) the overall quality looks great. I don't anticipate any issues through the coming winter, but will update should anything warrant it. "I initially hired Sam to replace a flat roof that was damaged due to ice dams and age. While he was replacing the roof he noticed significant hail damage to my aluminum siding. The hail storm had been a little under a year ago. I filed a claim with my insurance company and had only 2 weeks to replace the siding or they wouldn’t pay the claim as my policy will only cover wind and hail damage up to 365 days after the damage occurred.
