"I contacted Luis with HN Contruction Belen for an estimate on some repairs on a 50 yo front entrance deck along with two 8x8 cedar siding that was weathered and warped. Once I signed a contract with him on Wednesday, Luis along with a helper was here Thursday morning. They removed the front deck, stripped the 2 two sections, repair some support that was damaged on the house, rebuilt the deck frame work, built the decking and fixed on section of cedar before the evening and was back Friday morning to finish the other diagonal pattern cedar. I could not more pleased with the workmanship and professionalism of Luis and his associates. I will definitely contact him again with any additional needs and highly recommend giving him a chance to do the same for anyone."

"I am a perfectionist who would rather do things herself and know it's done to my exact specifications than to have someone else do it, but, being pregnant and trying to fix a fence at the same time do not mix. Yard Barber came in a saved the day. They were able to convey exactly what I wanted and needed all in a timely fashion. They were respectful of my property and neighbors, the clean up was wonderful. "This was alright. The carpet was pretty bad so he couldn’t guarantee it could be cleaned by doing a normal cleaning so he had to get the brush out and do a scrub on it. The steam cleaner wouldn’t have cleaned it properly. He did a fine job on it and it the carpet cleaning. I wouldn’t use him again because he is far out of town."

"This was our second project built by Backyard Construction. We had been so pleased with a 10x12' garden shed they built for us in 2012 that we had them build our art studio as well.  Once again, they did an outstanding job. We could not be more pleased with both buildings. Their part of the studio project involved constructing the shell of the structure; my husband and I, our electrician and our painter then finished the interior
We've used Backyard Construction because the quality of their buildings is excellent. After looking at dozens of other companies' offerings it was easy to see that Backyard used better materials and offered a higher level of workmanship yet was still very competitive pricewise. The studio is now one year old and the garden shed is two years old, and neither building has presented any problems whatsoever.
Construction began on time and was completed right on schedule. Their crew was courteous and extremely efficient. Dustin was a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive to our ideas and did an excellent job following up to make sure we were happy with everything. Working with Backyard Construction was a very positive experience for us each time, and we're more than happy to recommend them to others.
