"We love our new shed! We hired Tittel Construction to build a custom shed on the site of our previous shed. The concrete pad was there already but has a definite slope from a previous tree growing too close. Connor was able to not only build a great shed, but also make it level on a sloped foundation! He was very patient and helped me design, through Pinterest pics and my rough drawings, the perfect shed including 10 reclaimed windows. I’d highly recommend Tittel Construction."

"Tom and Tony did a great job painting our fascia, soffits and garage doors. Rogers Painting showed up and finished the job within the time frame they originally gave us. Rare these days! Very nice people to do business with."

"The project went smooth start to finish. The two gentlemen doing the project were very professional and personable. Marissa was very helpful with getting my painting scheduled to work out with other projects I had going on at my home. My wife and I would recommend them to all of our friends"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Washington, MO

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
