Small jobs welcome

"Frank SanPietro was very professional. He arrived when he said he would and was careful to make sure that he and his crew did a great job. They replaced My entire double width concrete driveway. They installed and raised the steel reinforcement fencing into the middle of the concrete to make sure that the finished concrete driveway was strong. The preparation and finishing of the concrete was exactly as he stated it would be completed. He delayed concrete pouring for expected rain and freezing temperatures, as he should. I fully recommend SanPietro Concrete Construction Company."

"Sean is a fantastic carpenter, and he did an outstanding job on several projects in our 90 year old home in Squirrel Hill. We needed a brand new stair banister/railing installed (the old one was loose and not to code), and Sean did a wonderful job building and installing a beautiful new railing. He also installed moulding in a room with uneven floors, and installed two interior doors, replacing the old ones, and fixing the uneven openings so the doors appear straight (instead of looking crooked like the old ones were)! Sean was professional, courteous, and punctual, and his work is excellent. It's so hard to find reliable people, and we are very fortunate to have found Sean to help us out. Highly recommend him for any renovation projects around the home!"

"Omnipro and Greg the project manager exceeded my expectations! They were on time, professional and when the job called for more than what was on our agreement, they just did it without asking for more money or time. They did what was right to stabilize my hill. Additionally, the project was challenging as there was a small space to work and a huge hill. They took on the challenge! It looks so fantastic. They scraped up my existing paver patio a little and instead of just turning the bricks over they put in all new.... I also got a whole new paver patio - WOW! These guys are a top notch class act without high prices! I love love love my backyard now! They rock! I will be selecting them again if I need any more work - walls, landscaping, hardscaping."

"Everything went very well. After I ordered deal, rep from company called within a day or two to schedule two appts. The first appt to examine window to confirm size, etc and to get estimate for window well piece as mentioned above. After first appt. $10 added because I had wood frame that needed replaced (which was no problem/reasonable and clear that there could be added costs via deal. Estimate for install of new window well was $75. We had them do everything for the additional $85. The office called prior to second appt to confirm we wanted add-on. Worker was prompt and completed work as promised for second appt. They did a nice job. I would recommend them and will use again."

"Very well. Josh responded immediately. The price was very good for 113' drive, 9 feet wide with parking pad. The old driveway had to be removed and disposed of. The work was delayed significantly by the weather. Also, a coordinated effort was needed with my landscape person. Large trees had been removed and some of the roots had to be taken out. When the team got into gear they were able to complete the work in two days. Of course rain slowed the second day for five days."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Washington, PA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
