"A neighbor uses Hemax. We called them the day after the ice storm and asked if they coud shovel our driveway. They said they charge $75 per person per hour and, depending on the size of our driveway, it could take 4-5 persons 4-5 hours. They came on Tuesday with 2 men and a plow. They finished the job in exactly an hour. We got an invoice 3 days later for $450, with no explanation how that figure was arrived at. When I called, I was told it included travel time. I said their company is a half hour from our house so that made no sense. I asked that the charge be reconsidered. When I called again, I was told they have a 6 hour minimum ($75/hr for 6 hours is $450) for any job. No minimum had been mentioned before. I asked for a manager to call me but have heard nothing. They did good work but we won?t use them again."

"Professional. Dependable. Excellent value. They email us the day before they treat the yard. We choose organic treatment over regular pesticides and tick tubes. Organic is around an 1/8 more expensive, but it is reasonable when comparing other competitors’ organic treatment prices. It has been worth it for our peace of mind and the safety of our pets and backyard wildlife. Highly recommend!"
