On July 28, 2016, my roof and skylights were pummeled by hail. Brendan Christenson (Sales / Account Manager for Advanced Exteriors) came by the very next day to apply tarps over the skylights and damaged roof areas. Kyle Anderson (Project Manager) was out when the adjustor arrived to survey the damage and document the items needing repair. Without Kyle’s help, we would have missed quite a lot of damage. My new skylights had to be custom ordered - which delayed the installation process by a few weeks. During this process, Brendan was in frequent contact - which eased my concerns - and said he was shooting for a seamless install for the roof and the 8 foot long skylights. To compensate for the delay - and ongoing weather concerns  - Brendan dispatched a very large crew for the job. My roof was finished by 10:30 on their second day off work! Overall, my experience with Advanced Exteriors was very positive! They were reassuringly professional and highly responsive to my concerns via phone or email. The roof and skylights were installed in-between bouts of extreme cold and snow. Having the larger crew to do the work when the weather cooperated was terrific. I was contacted immediately following the installation to see if I had questions or concerns. I am very pleased with the outcome (the roof and skylights look terrific) - and I would unequivocally recommend Advanced Exteriors to friends, family, and neighbors. Given that hundreds of homes were impacted by the hailstorm, and the numerous roofing companies ringing doorbells and seeking contracts, I feel quite fortunate to have chosen such an outstanding company to get the job done right! "Josh W. now replaced two roofs for me. One in some commercial property and my home. I am a customer that CAN be hard to work with. I become an “issue” if the contractor does not do what I ask or if the contractor is unprepared for the job. Josh is one of the few contractors with whom I have worked with who is on-top of things. On my commercial building, Josh got a hotel room close by so that he could be there waiting for the deliveries and make sure the correct product gets delivered. He caught some issues and took care of them. He is proactive. I did not have to check on things. Since the roofing and gutters went so well on this project, I had him change my home’s roof too. I had several things that needed to be done. If these things were not taken care of, I would have become a difficult client: -Placement of some roof vents had to be changed -My weather station had to be removed and then reinstalled -A grounding system (for the weather station) had to be worked with/worked around -An antenna had to also be removed and reinstalled -Two different solar-powered attic vents (and their solar panels) had to be removed and reinstalled -Since I plan to put in solar panels in the future, I wanted special junction boxes (EZ Solar JB-1.2) to be installed (by roofers) so I don’t have to deal with conduit running on the roof and also to house the future circuit disconnect breakers. I also do not want solar panel installers messing with things a roofer can do better. -My radon mitigation system vents through the roof and required a new cap. -My leaf guards for the gutters could not be the same on every side of the house because some sides are more prone to ice damming. So some have to have larger holes, some can use a mesh. -My old roof was a 40-year shingle, but it was too old to be a class-4 shingle. I wanted Malarkey class-4 shingles. -My gutter downspouts needed to accommodate two water diverters for rain barrel filling. I could go on about things that needed to be done that made my project a bit different. It is not that I’m difficult, it is that I know what I need and these things are non-negotiable. I am upfront about them and if a contractor agrees to do everything, then they better do so. I don’t want to hear… “Oh I forgot, I could not find what you are talking about, this should ‘do’ instead, I will come back and do that later.” I’m writing this detailed review because Enviro Roofing took care of everything! No surprises, no drama. The few issues that came up were taken care of. I never had the feeling that I would have to start to settle for less, or just put up with some issues to get the workers away from my home. They also did the painting and got other things that were damaged (by the hail storm), covered by insurance. It seems that some estimates are written up way low because the insurance company does not expect the homeowner to actually get some of the damage repaired. I will be doing business with Enviro Roofing again! I recommend them!"
