He was prompt to come out and gave a very detailed estimate, breaking down materials and service. There was no doubt what was included in the quote. There were other firms that quoted the project at a lower price that did not get the job because their quote was too ambiguous. When it came to the installation, they were prompt, detailed and clean. Within three days they were complete. At the end of each workday the cleaned up and left the site presentable. We received great value and great service. We are delighted with HDR Landscaping’s work and highly recommend them"

"Overall the experience was fine.  I enjoyed working with him and would do it again.  They did good work.  He speaks english but many of those who work with him may not.  I liked the work he did and he solved a couple of minor other problems while he was there.  I am looking to have him back to do other work as well.  The most expensive part of this trip was the basement blocks having to be done.  Overall he worked with me on price and we agreed.  My only complaint was that it took longer than they initially stated, but on the upside, the totally cleaned up everything.  If I found a problem, I just shared it with them and they fixed.  Overall very pleasant experience.

"Edgar and the ECA Team demonstrate how a great contractor should perform. He provided a fair estimate based on repairing or replacing my old deck. We agreed on a start date and he followed up to confirm. The work area remained clean and debris-free. My landscaping was not damaged - this was very important to me. The crew was courteous of my neighbors - deck building can be noisy but not this time. The job was completed in less than 3 days. I chose ECA because of the estimate and the excellent reviews. Edgar and his team lived up to the reviews and my expectations. The deck is better than new. I highly recommend ECA."

"Green Matters is either too busy or understaffed. It took MONTHS for the work to be done. Further, while eventually the work was mostly completed, to include replacement of SOME of the plants that did not survive, there is still remaining “warranty” work that I have simply given up on being done. That said, I really like the owner personally, and as poor as this recent experience has been, I also used Green Matters in prior years with superb results. So, I am very disappointed, but there is more work I would like to have done, and would give Green Matters another chance IF very firm, inforceable commitments were made. And for that to be acceptable, I would require the work to be done with only a very small upfront payment."
