"My experience with Matt and his crew at the Concrete Company was outstanding. He recently completed a new driveway for us. I find that many contractors I've worked with in the past really lack communication skills - they don't respond to questions/calls, you never know when they're going to show up, etc... This was not the case with Matt. He responded promptly to my request for a bid and was quick to answer many questions I had along the way. He personally stopped by my house several times to meet with me and our carpenter to problem solve an issue with a door threshold. The project itself was tricky, in fact, another concrete company turned it down because they felt they couldn't properly keep water away from the foundation of the house. Matt was open and straight forward with me the whole time, assuring me he'd find a way to make it work. The end result is both aesthetically pleasing and functional - the jewel of the neighborhood! Finally, I needed some help installing some pavers for a small retaining wall on the side of my new driveway and what a landscaping company quoted me was more than I could afford. "When I bought my house, it was obvious that there was some settling occurring under the concrete driveway slabs immediately adjacent to the garage.  The settling caused the slabs to crack and break basically disallowing any mud jacking measures to be employed.  I called numerous contracts in March to come out and quote me the price and discuss the specifics like concrete depth and materials used with Cliff being one of said contractors. <br /> Cliff's quote came in the lowest, and while that was nice, it was not the deciding factor in my decision.  Rather, during our discussion, he described the process and materials he'd be using to perform the work, which is more than I can say occurred with the other contractors.  The downside of going with Cliff was that he was pretty booked (which I've found to be the case with many concrete contractors), so my job wasn't scheduled until 3 months out.  I wasn't in a time crunch, so this wasn't a concern for me, but if this is something that is important for you, just take note to plan ahead properly. <br /> When Cliff and crew came to remove and subsequently replace the concrete, it was all done as he described.  Everyone was very helpful in answering all of my questions and the new concrete looks great.  From my estimates the concrete ranged in thickness from 4.5 - 6 inches in depth, which was within the specs provided.  At this stage, everything is cured and looks great. <br /> Overall I was very happy with the services rendered.  As I said Cliff seemed to be the most knowledgeable of the work being done (probably because he was also involved with most of the work itself), and he also came in the cheapest.  If I have any future concrete work to perform, I will definitely be giving Cliff a call. <br />"

"Washa Remodeling saved us from the fiasco created by the first company we hired to put a bathroom in the basement bedroom and redo the bedroom itself. The previous company had started a year and a half earlier by putting up framing with a bathroom floor plan that did not meet city codes. They never finished and we had to go to small claims to get our money back. Adam from Washa gave us a quote that was higher than the one we had, but, obviously, it was necessary to do the job correctly. Steve Wineland, the site manager, is tops in the trade. We have had a lot of construction work at our home and our business and Steve is the best. The subcontractors were also outstanding. The flooring was delayed in arriving due to covid, but that was the only problem. The room and bathroom look amazing. We are going to start our next project very soon of remodeling our existing bathroom configuration on the first floor. I would recommend Washa for any project even if their price is somewhat higher because they are professionals, and, you get what you pay for."

This occurred the first week of December and although the ground was not yet frozen, I was concerned that it could soon become frozen.  This is Wisconsin, after all. I called all the highly rated handyman providers, and they all were booked for at least two weeks and some were busy through January or February. I decided to take a chance on Property Image, even though they had only a few reviews. The entire process went really well. They could not set up an available date for three days or so, but they communicated with me so I knew they were coming. I also could not be there during the work, which was not a problem for them. They offered to buy a new mailbox for me, but I wanted to choose one myself. I bought one (they purchased a post), and left it on my front porch in the morning. I came home that evening and it was installed perfectly, just the right distance from the street, level and sturdy in the ground. The landscaping around the post looked like it was barely touched. They billed me about a week later. It all worked out and I love my new mailbox <br />"
