"We had great service from Seth and his crew. Our sump pumps were running almost 24/7. Seth came over right away when I first contacted him and gave us great cost effective suggestions. After they were done, the problems were all resolved. The work involved redirecting the drainage from all our downspouts, installing yards of drain pipes and some catch basins, regrading and re-seeding the yard all around the house, They also helped us with our many â While-youâ re-at-itsâ . The guys left the place looking great and I feel like we really got our moneyâ s worth by hiring them. We highly recommend them."

"These are great workers, which are hard to find. Very satisfied with their work, but moreover, they are professional. They respond to calls, show up when they say they will, and complete their work on time or earlier. And the price was on the low end of bids. I can't ask for more in this world of poor service from contractors. These guys are at the top"

"Chris at United Paving is very responsive. He initially provided me an estimate months ago when I was still researching the project. After I had many bids from virtually every paving company in the county, United Paving was about $2k lower. Once I selected United Paving for the project, to say that Chris was responsive would be an understatement. I have about 50 emails back and forth coordinating timing and answering my questions about the project. Their foreman Luke even came to the job site to work with my concrete contractor so that the overall project is successful. The end paving result was a success."

"We hired Greener Grass for lawn treatments in 2012. We had some problem areas in our lawn that were not addressed and treatments were applied on a 100 degree day during a very dry spell causing burned areas in our yard. We mentioned the problem areas on multiple occasions however they were not addressed. At the end of the summer we determined we would not rehire them the following year, but received a call that they had hired new technicians. <br />"

"I'm very happy with the way these repairs turned out. John can be a airy at times, and he's not the best at the formal office side of his business such as writing up the job quote yet. But I have found John Selinger to be very conscientious of his work. He can be quite creative as well. He asks questions of the projects to get a good feel of what your expectations are. Offers good suggestions of how he can possible make better. I can tell as I've worked with John on this and another project. John puts a great deal pride into his work. He knows he's signing his signature to it and he has a personal stake in the project. He's asks questions because he wants to do it right, so he can best meet your expectations. John knows the value of a happy returning customer. Seagull Enterprize has done 2 projects for me to date. I'm going to write another review for the other project for him. I fully intend to use his services again in the near future for a small project and then again in the spring for possible a couple of other paving projects if I can find the cash. I've also found his pricing pretty comparable to his peers. <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Waupun, WI

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
