I contacted him again in April 2020 after I removed multiple spruce trees from my property line. I told him exactly what I wanted. After giving me his expert advice, he installed a vinyl fence and a chain-link gate with white slates that are better than I expected. Every construction job will have unforeseen items crop up, sometimes in the favor of the people paying the bill, but more often there are additional costs involved. This was no exception,
As the tear off was proceeding, the gutters fell of because the fascia board that was there was to narrow and too thin, so there was nothing for the gutters to hold on to during the tear off. Of course that lead to installing fascia board, gutters, and soffit because of the low price some one else paid years ago.
The additional cost was very reasonable, considering I had no choice but to have the additional work done.When it's all said and done Zimmerlee was not the lowest bid, I tend to shy away from the low bids because "you get what you pay for".  But what was most important is that I got more than what I paid for.  We have had unusual and extremely heavy rains and winds since the work was completed, I have not had a single issue with the work not holding up. I am very satisfied with the price I paid because Zimmerlee did such a good job the first time, there was no need for any warranty work to be performed. That is a bargain in my book."
