We envision a wooden 2 or 3 rail wooden fence with field wire to fence off our back yard for pets and children. That fence would fence three sides of our back yard. One side would run roughly 100 to 125 linear feet, and the two sides would be 65 to 70 feet each. There are a few existing posts that might be usable, but let’s plan on an entirely new fence. In addition, we will need a new pasture fence (at wire and one strand of barbed wire) to connect between one corner of the new fence and an existing pasture fence for roughly 50 feet.
