"We just had our roof replaced by Global Roofing. It was amazing to work with Andrea and Freddy. We couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience! We got several quotes for our roofing job, changed our mind about the material along the way (went from metal to asphalt), and Andrea and Freddy were great throughout the process. They were an outstanding value ( I paid much less than I expected to) and the work was done quickly. "Great job. I thought I needed to replace my deck--the wood looked moldy and pitted. But, after Nathan finished, it looked fantastic. A coat of stain should be all I need now. Before washing the roof, Nathan took photos of it and alerted me to potential issues I might see in a few years--he's not selling roofing replacement so this was strictly a friendly heads up. I hired A1 because they perform low power roof washing, which avoids any potential damage to the tiles. I would recommend A1 without any hesitation."

"As a person who knew nothing about siding or roofing and has never had to find a contractor for a project of this scale, I was very anxious about the task ahead of me. I had to ask many questions as I proceeded through the process (identifying contractors to come to the cottage, interviewing the finalists, etc.). I greatly appreciated that Victor was always patient and explained things so a layperson like me could understand them. He was invaluable in helping me select the right siding and roofing materials for a Gloucester cottage that receives a lot of wear and tear from the often-harsh sea air. Also, as an experienced builder, his perspective and advice was greatly appreciated. Once his business had been selected, he outlined the timeframe and sequencing of the work and about the different crews that would be doing the work. He advised me as to how to prepare the cottage (remove items from shelves and the walls as well as cover the furniture) before the work began. As I did not stay at the cottage while the work was being done (and as I live over 2 hours away from the cottage), Victor was conscientious in keeping me informed by texts, phone calls, and photos. There were challenges to overcome, mostly rotted wood (no real surprise), and Victor contacted me immediately, and we talked about his proposed solutions. I was able to see during a couple of my visits to the site (and via the photos) that the crews worked diligently and efficiently to keep the project moving. Victor’s crew had started the project with materials on site, so the transitions from the demolition, to the roof, to the trim and windows, then to the siding were seamless. The only delays, which were not many, were due to weather conditions. Toward the end of the project, there was a storm that caused a power outage but, undeterred, Victor brought a generator to the site so that the project could be completed within the original projected timeframe. I was greatly pleased at the way Victor responded to a few items that had received some damage during the project—a window had to be re-glazed and the screen replaced and a screen door had to be re-hung. He addressed all my concerns quickly and efficiently. I would definitely contact Victor and the On Time General Services team in the future for projects for the cottage that I know are looming in the not-too-distant future."

"Very smooth. My first contact was with office manager Janatha. She is pleasant and professional and scheduled time for the estimate. Owner Howard Mendoza arrived on time and had a professional presentation. In a few hours, Janatha e-mailed the estimate to me. In fairness I spoke to the other names provided and then I hired Howard. Roofing is weather dependent and Janatha kept in contact with me and set a suitable date. On the day, Howard and crew arrived early and got right to work. His crew is pleasant and friendly and worked well. After a long day, they finished, took everything away and left no trace of being there. A pleasant experience! One Angie's list caveat is not to put money up front. Howard required half down and half on completion. As a small business owner myself, I know the importance of cashflow. After 5 minutes with Howard I knew he was trustworthy--Do not let this be a dealbreaker. I am very pleased with their work and will hire them again."
