"I put in my claim with choice home warranty and CHW setup an appointment for/with Demond electric company The technician arrived I paid the required service fee charge (the service fee varies per state -i have used CHW in 3 different states and the service fee was affordable for the 3 different states) The Demond Electric technician Paul was very very professional, polite, knowledgeable and did a great job."

"Dustin was very fast, and the price was reasonable. While installing 3 outlets on the outside of my home, he cracked the brick. Dustin came back the following Monday and fixed the brick to the original look. Very friendly and greater customer service. I was able to call him and get the outlets installed in the same day. Would highly recommend."

"Sam is a fantastic electrician, and he is now our Go-to guy from now on! We had Sam originally in to completely wire our daughters tiny house that we are building. He went above and beyond the call of duty, and was very thoughtful in listening to what we had wanted to achieve in this building project, but was also quick and observant to bring up some addition amenities that we had slightly overlooked, or had not even thought of... He completed the job to perfection and in great time! We also had him go down to our picnic shelter and install 3 ceiling oscillating fans, which with LA weather is now much more tolerable and an inviting area on our property. Today a neighbor came by and we were looking at the party area, and she immediately noticed and said, Kris! Love the fans! Thank you, Sam! We will have you back soon for those other projects we talked about."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in West Monroe, LA

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
