"C&W Dirt Work did a great job correcting a run off issue on our property. The run off had eroded a large portion of our back yard. Grant and his team came up with a solution to fix the issue by removing some trees to reroute the water and installing a rip rap rock wall to prevent the issue from happening again. He worked with us in a timely manner as he fit us in to his busy schedule since the yard was literally washing away every time it rained. He showed up on time and when he said he would be there. His price was very reasonable and his work was outstanding. I would definitely hire C&W Dirt Work again and would recommend them to anyone needing this kind of service. "The new fence is beautiful and has made a dramatic difference to the appearance of our side yard. In less than one day the old fence was completely removed and the new one installed without any evidence that the old fence had ever existed. Connie worked with us closely for measurements to ensure that the new railings were close enough together to ensure that our dogs weren't able to squeeze through the bars! Then Greg and Steve built the new arbor with beautiful columns and a custom top to match our pergola on the other side of the house. "Elliot Davis, owner, is highly professional, incredibly responsive, respectful, and trustworthy. We can’t say enough about his attention to detail, which is amazing. During the planning stage of phase 1 of our project, Elliot patiently listened to our desires and made sure to explain all possible options and limitations that could be encountered. We were extremely lucky and grateful to have Elliot personally oversee the project. He is a ‘hands-on” owner working side-by-side with his craftsmen who were also courteous, caring, and hardworking. "Excellently.  John was totally professional and did everything he said--and within budget and on time.  He is friendly, courteous, and professional.  I highly recommend him. <br /> Here is the real bottom-line:  John did a number of different jobs, including repairing a door that was leaking, for $3000.  Earlier, I had had a Lowe's representative look at the door;  he informed me the door was beyond repair and offered to sell and install a new one for $14,000!!!!    I'll go with Mr. Clean every time!!! <br /> Additionally, when I was having a leakage problem prior to the door being fixed--and it was delaying installation of a floor I had purchased, John made a special trip to my house on Saturday morning just to help out.  Now that's service!!"

"Banks Spiller was hired after I had met with and hired two other Concrete contractors to do the work and they never showed up.  Not only did he show up and start when he said he would, he did a fantastic job and had to work through some extremely wet weeks of work to complete the project.  <br /> He originally said the entire project should take 3 full days if the rain would hold off.  It ended up taking almost 3 weeks to complete due to it raining almost every day for 3 solid weeks.  He showed up almost every day, even on weekends to try and get done whatever he possibly could in spite of the bad weather and never once complained.  He called to touch base with me on a daily basis to let me know what had been done and where things stood.  He catered to every request I had and made a few project changes and never changed his original price he quoted me.  For example, he wasn't satisfied with the quality of soil in my front yard and was afraid the sod/bushes might not grow well in it so he brought in several loads of topsoil to ensure the grass and bushes would grow well.  He even reset my mailbox for me as a favor at the end of the project even though that was not part of the bid.  He was a pleasure to work with and took tremendous pride in doing an excellent job.  The end result was stunning and you could tell his years of experience really paid off in the finished work!  We've had a couple of hard rains and there's been no more water in the basement.  The french drain and excavation work he did worked perfectly.  The newly soded yard and circular driveway looks terrific and I've had several neighbors already compliment me on how great the driveway and yard look. <br /> I would highly reccomend Banks to anyone needing excavaiton, concrete driveway/walkway or sod work! <br />"

"Warmzone has been very responsive. However, the installers made mistakes installing the system and when they went to correct it, somehow caused damage that made the system inoperable. They had to come back a year later and redo it. Now it works pretty good. Every time I've had questions Warmzone has been very responsive. i would use them again--but use their recommended installers and not my contractors who did it last time. <br /> One caveat: The system doesn't always work perfectly in very cold weather with fast accumulating snow. We have old-fashioned clay brick pavers. Next time I'll send Warmzone a sample of the pavers so that they can test for the power needed to operate the system effectively. <br /> But--they sell a great product and they're very helpful to deal with. They'll get right on the phone with you and troubleshoot, even long after the sale. <br />"
