"Arrived and got started right away. I paid him upfront and had to shower and change to head out for evening. I received pictures taken of a portion of the duct, was disappointed I could not see to the end of the vent clean out. My other concern is how the service tech left the dryer vent curled up and partially crushed as he put the dryer back in place, and then took this picture to display it. It would seem obvious that once you saw the vent like that you would correct it. Not happy with that. "

Debbie in the office called me right back and gave me a very detailed quote. I scheduled the duct cleaning, along with cleaning the dryer vent. Debbie gave me a window during which the workmen would arrive and that they would call when they were on their way from their previous job. They called and showed up right on time during that window. Mario and Sergio explained how they do the work, verified the number of vents, mains, and returns, and were able to do most of the cleaning from the basement, using a rotating brush and vacuum. Then they went to each room and inspected those vents to ensure that they were clean. They showed us pictures of what was in the vents! They also did a treatment for mold, mildew, etc., and made sure I was not in the house for the few minutes that the treatment was being done, due to my lungs. Their pictures of the dryer vent showed almost complete clogging and they cleaned that also. I found them very professional and thorough, both in their explanations and in their work. "The basement wall was built over vent. Richard the technician did a great job removing the old vent and installing the new one up to code. He had to remove the drop ceiling to access the vent to the outside. Then he drilled a perfect 4" hole in the cabinet above the dryer because the new vent had to be installed outside the wall and the cabinet was in the way. "95% well- driver/technician = excellent -professioal-polite ;eventhough we were last appt of day and he ran into a problem hat cost him time - he did not rush the job or take any shortcuts to my knowledge. clean the very end part of cleaning the dryer vent ran into a problem and could not be worked out as he reached a blockage and he queried me as to how much further he should go and I stopped him. It was dark and he could not see on the roof the kind of vent it was. As it turned out when we could get onto the roof to see -the vent was angkled and if he had gone farther thinking it was a birds nest ,etc., it probably would have meant damage to the inside of vent and the problem wold not have been resolved anyway. As it turned out someone had to go on the roof and physically remove the vent deris to clear it."
