"I've used gutter maids for the last couple of years, whenever i need gutters cleaned, they are out within a few days. They do an excellent job and get on top of my roof with a leaf blower and hose to ensure the gutters are completely cleaned out. They even found a wasp nest once and removed it for me while they were working on the gutters. I should have been using them years ago instead of dealing with ladders and power lines."

"We would cheerfully recommend Seitz Construction for your next project. First, they were willing to be flexible. After we had a estimate for our job we thought of some changes we would like to make. They were glad to accommodate us and make the changes. When the work was being done they were always courteous to us as homeowners and they always worked at reasonable times and never wanted us to be ready to let them into our house at 6:30 AM or anything like that. Also, they let us know ahead of time when they would be coming to work and they never just failed to show up. Further, they tried to minimize the mess and they were careful to put down coverings to avoid tracking all over our floors. The actual work was definitely done carefully and correctly. In fact, the careful attention to details was amazing. I believe I am something of a perfectionist and a couple times I know the work was done more exactingly than I believe I would have done it myself. To be sure they did a good job they also used materials that were more difficult for them to work with, but would be better and last longer. This is clearly a case where we would have probably never known the difference but they wanted to do the job right. Finally, we had an unexpected chance to see how Seitz really feels about doing a quality job and keeping customers happy. Right after we thought our job was finished we found a very small but annoying problem. It was fixed the next workday morning. We thought that was amazingly good response to deal with a problem."

FAQs for roof cleaning service projects in West Concord, MN

To find a reputable ice dam removal company, check verified customer reviews and ensure they have the proper credentials. Look at online testimonials and consult reputable agencies like the Better Business Bureau to validate their service record. Contact the company to ask about their experience, hourly rates, and safety practices. This helps ensure you're hiring a pro with proven expertise and a solid track record to protect your home from ice dam damage.

Ice dams can cause extensive damage that jeopardizes your entire roof structure. They can lead to issues like attic condensation, broken roof sheathing, persistent leaks, visible wall water stains, mold in your attic insulation, sagging drywall, rotting attic framing, and roof collapse. This damage compromises your home's integrity and requires immediate professional attention to ensure proper repair and safety.

Most insurance policies don’t include coverage for the removal of ice dams since it's considered preventive maintenance. However, damage caused by ice dams—such as roof collapse, extensive water damage, or structural failures—may be covered by your policy. It's a good idea to contact your insurance provider to understand your coverage.

Removing snow from your roof can help prevent ice dams. Use a proper roof rake from the ground or a safe ladder—never climb onto an icy roof. Also, consider addressing any inadequate attic insulation that may cause heat leakage. Promptly clearing snow minimizes risks and helps maintain a safe, durable roof.
