"Ron came out to tour the property around October just to talk through problem areas with the trees and remedy options.  He seems very knowledgeable and it was great to talk to him about tree care and also general landscape challenges.  He told me how the excavation that had occurred during construction of the house (7 years ago) had damaged roots of some large trees near the house - this is why they were showing wounds.  In addition to the growth inhibitor for the damaged large trees, he helped me decide to cut down some box elder trees and offered some advice on how best to remove honeysuckle and his thoughts on the best replacement trees/shrubs.  Our Austrian Pines were suffering from some sapsucker and bug attacks so we signed up for seasonal care to help combat the effects.  I guess the downside is that I'm not really sure if any of this will work until a year or two down the road? <br />"

"They did a lot of good things for us. They did a lot of things not related to lawn care. He is sort of a general handyman. We thought we were going to have to spend $5,000 to get the aluminum siding redone and he said that he would just paint that. He got paint that matched and you can't tell. He did a good job there. They have done very well with what they have done. I would probably have them back if I have something that needs to be done. They put insulation in the front door and the light still shines through so it is not tight. The guy was going to come back and fix it. I've called him twice and no response so I'm not satisfied with that. Their price and quality was pretty good. The landscaping was expensive. They tore out carpet and padding and removed the staples. They hung some rods. They worked well with us."

"<p>Darn Ash Bores!   We were very careful not to bring firewood from other counties and we kept an eye on our trees....especially the 60 year old ASH tree that WAS a focal point of our yard.  Last year we lost some lower limbs on the Ash trees but didn't think much about it because the top looked good and had leaves.  I even looked for those "D" shaped holes...never saw this coming.  Then in the spring, reality hit.  It was very apparent that we had lost a dozen or so trees.  </p> <p>In addition to cutting down and removing our huge Ash tree at the back and another huge one at the side of our home, Davey also trimmed 12 or so huge trees in the front of our property.  </p> <p>Every person we met from Davey Tree was professional, nice, and positive.  They also seemed to love the company and worked well as a TEAM.  We saw everyone pitch in to get the job done.  Of course some guys climbed trees and others stayed on the ground but when a tree went down, they all pitched in to clean it up...they were like an army of ants.  </p> <p>My husband and I were so impressed that we have now hired them to do other tree work this year that we knew would have to eventually be addressed.<br /> <br /></p> <br />"
