"This was a tar covered flat roof with a slight decline from the middle to the sides. They removed the old base wood and installed more insulation. Replaced new base wood, installed a radiant barrier for heat reflection , laid down a 2 inch foam insulation, put down a layer of tar and small rocks. They installed about 19 vents for air circulation between each joint which the original roof lacked. It has improved the temperature in the two levels of the home which had been a problem since we purchased the home about 38 years ago."

Victor, my amazing repair person, found a small hole the previous builder hid at initial construction at the corner of second floor slash roof.
