"I hired Josh to do a full resurface on my bi-level deck, including water protection for the joists. It was quite an expensive job, he was not the low bidder by about 20 K. But his expertise convinced me that he was worth the extra money. I went with the deluxe material to protect my deck. And it was tongue and grooved. I also hired him to install a chain-link fence around part of my property. I would definitely hire him again for any other project he could handle."

All About Decks, Docks & More, LLC, is a small company that will work with you every step of the way giving you the customer service that you deserve. Please call for your fair and honest estimate
"Only thing they did themselves was the patio ceiling & French drain for my project. Acted as hiring contractor for all the other work. Overall project was a success, but I didn't appreciate how the lead crewman/ owner spoke to his employee. Subcontractors that were hired were excellent."

A family owned and oreiented business with 18 employees, spouses, and many kids all under one roof. We don't subcontract a lot of our work so if your looking to work with your contractor one on one we would be a great choice. We do not offer financing but we do try to have flexible billing terms to meet your needs and we accept all forms of electronic and debit/credit card payments.
"I was given a quote of $23,561.30 for the job. The other two quotes I got were for $6100 and $8000. I got the job very satisfactorily done elsewhere. I think they really didn't want to do the job. Fine, but I would have preferred they'd said so instead of trying to see how much they could get out of me."

"I called Jason Cravenho on a Wednesday to get a quote on replacing my roof. He normally uses an online program to estimate the job, but trees were covering the satellite view of my home. He came out the next morning (Thursday) and estimated the job. His estimate of $12,000 was very reasonable, considering the extent of the job. The estimate included materials and labor for 42 squares of shinges, a synthetic underlayment, ice and water shield in the valleys, new flashing and edging all around, and a replacing all the roof vents and up to 2 sheets of plywood. The shingles are Owens-Corning Duration 40-year architectural shingles. The coming weekend was supposed to be rain-free, and I asked if they could start right away. He said he could start at 0830 Sunday morning. I picked the shingle color from a link on his website and printed off the contract he emailed me. He asked for half the fee up front. At 0830 Sunday morning he and his crew showed up at my house in Otis - an hour from his shop in Keizer. I gave Jason a check for half the bid and a signed contract, they climbed up the roof and started tearing it off. Jason estimated they would be done Tuesday evening. In a few hours they had half the roof torn off and had started putting on underlayment and the ice and water shield.. I had to leave on business. When I returned Wednesday afternoon the roof was done. It looks FANTASTIC! New metal edging all along the house, flashing in an area where there had been a leak, no more leaks around my gutters, some rotted fascia replaced and the whole thing cleaned up. Jason had sent me photos of the roof that morning, but in person was better. Jason also told me that an addtional 4 sheets of plywood had to be replaced. He also emailed me an invoice for the remainder of the bill. When it was all said and done there was an additional 1 hour of labor plus 4 sheets of plywood billed - an extra $205. Very reasonable for replacing the plywood, fascia, and a rotted 2x4. The next day his crew showed up again to re-clean. I had thought it was fine, but Jason had seen some things he thought needed cleaned up better. I sent the check for the balance with his crew. I would use Cravenho Construction again without hesitation. From contact to final clean-up was a week and they straight-up did everything they said they would do on time and for the amount we agreed upon. I couldn't be happier with this experience!"

Boat docks need maintenance every year. Scheduling a comprehensive inspection at the end of each warm weather season prevents minor issues from turning into major repairs. Annual upkeep—including cleaning, repairing defective parts, and applying protective treatments—preserves the dock’s structure. Consistent maintenance ensures safety and prolongs the dock’s durability while minimizing repair costs over time.
In most cases, yes, pressure washing a boat dock is a great idea. Pressure washing costs $210 to $450, removing algae buildup, stains, and debris, helping to keep your dock in excellent condition. However, some materials, such as vinyl and certain composites, may not be suitable for pressure washing. Always check the manufacturer's recommendations before proceeding.
On average, a boat dock lasts between 10 and 20 years. Performing regular maintenance and reapplying protective treatments as needed will help extend the life of your dock. It's important to address issues promptly to prevent them from becoming more significant problems. Keep your dock clean and free of algae and debris, and ensure you use the proper protective products for your dock's materials.
